There are good and dark sides in any country. The first step in solving a problem is to recognize that it does exist.

I noticed that most of the interviewees are students, i think it would be nice if they broaden their interview. They should include the percepcion of other locals like, daddies, mommies, executive, vendor to get a wider scope of information and opinion.

True.. And in the case of Boracay, it would've been better to interview the locals there and hear a probably more in depth opinion about the situation there

Most of the protesters now are college students. Why?
Laila delima used to brainwash blind and deaf youth to stand against anti yellowtards by visiting and indoctrinating them at schools.
I bet they still think the Aquinos are the patriots of this country 😂
Most of, they don't know shit!
They get easily manipulated because they don't think.
Now tell me, does studying in prestige schools (like UP, UST, etc.) still count if you don't use your own fucking head?
Now that almost the whole nation is enlightened by the truth, only idiots would change their mind by giving the communists the sympathy.
Marcoses never said a word. They don't defend themselves by the false accusations. I think they know that a time will come that the people themselves will figure out the truth and the cocky thieves will blame and slaughter each other.
I hope that Ninoy and Cory are still alive today so they can witness the rebirth of Maharlika one day. I also wanna see the horror on their faces 😍

Very nice you guys saw this and hear some of your thoughts. You guys are very welcome. These issues are common around the world not only in the Philippines. No one in the world likes being disrespected, but being "bastos" does fume a Filipino even more. One thing as Filipinos, we love the Philippines, we love and are very proud of being Filipino. We are very happy people and we like to share happiness. Stay well and Enjoy the Philippine life.

In every situation, there’s the bad eggs and the good. Both sides, foreign tourists and locals. Overall, the good is overwhelming. But we as Filipinos, are immensely grateful for these foreign tourists for choosing our country. Filipinos in general are kind, courteous and extremely hospitable. We treat our guests as family members. Mabuhay!

on the touristy side - rules must be implemented and policed, the Thai Government made separate toilets for mainland Chinese tourists for a reason, so the Thai govt found a way to still accommodate all even them. as for the sex tourism, not to diminish us pinoys, this isnt just in the Philippines but nearly all ASEAN countries. really need good governance and political will

It's always fun to watch you guys reacting and blogging at the same time. Regarding the topic of this reaction, there are some truth to that and it's sad really but I guess the perception is changing as most tourists now are real tourist to see what we can offer or the Philippines can offer. It's like Thailand in the past that most people 's perception is about sex to most tourist. But now it's no longer the case I guess, same things happening in the Philippines. The change of attitudes and perceptions to the Philippine Tourism is because of Foreign bloggers and some good international ads that portrays the country as a beautiful tourist destination, some of your positive comments about the country is gradually changing the atmosphere and perceptions of most people specially the foreign tourists 👌 👌 😀 😀 🇵🇭 🇵🇭.

I agree with their stand . Not all tourist are bod just like us Filipinos . Tourist are good but there are some foreigners who used and Abused our kindness and hospitality towards them . All we need to do, is to act what is right and do what we thinks are rights so that we all understand and gain a great bonds to each other between foreigners and locals 😘😘

Meron naman tayong batas pero di tayo sumusunod, naggagagohan lang tayo eh. Tapos inexpect natin na respetuhin tayo ng mga dayuhan nyan. Ano yun?

  • @gigibau7976

I have to argue, it’s not always the government it’s also the locals responsibility to set an example - both are to blame, tourist and locals. Set an example for the tourist. If you go to Melbourne they will give you the look or voice out when you are doing something wrong. I have backpacked through south east Asia in 2001 and they have signs about prostitution in hotels. Don’t always blame the government it’s an individual and local problem and then the government. Tourist won’t be taking advantage if the locals don’t tolerate the behaviour. You cannot always blame someone, you as a parent is responsible for your own child, don’t have them if you can’t be responsible for them and blame the government for your own shortcoming as a parent.

lets not stereotype nor generalize tourists we are all human ..it boils down to the government's lack of child support that led them to the unfortunate state of their lives at the end if the day we are all responsible for our own growth and development wake up and grow up Philippines!
