This model went on sale in the US in 2013 as a 2014 model. It was the best-looking sedan in its class and beyond then and subsequently won at least one award as a result. A few updates later, inside and out, it’s still the best-looking sedan in its class and arguably one of the best-looking sedans in the market, period. Incredible!
I bought this feb 2013 brand new the 2014 fully loaded gt top trim and 90k miles later no issues at all what so ever. I have never had any major problems with this car.
I love my CX-5 Signature but watching this makes me miss my Mazda 6. Hopefully the next gen 6 will be available by the end of my CX-5 lease in summer 2023. Yes, I agree the seats are very comfortable in the 6.
I have a 2018 6 signature and love it except for the seats, mazda replaced one at 35,000 miles, that one was softer but now that one is hitting me in the butt, I',m 175 lbs...are the CX 5 napa brown seats the same as in the 6? @@JSS

Jonathan, is the Carbon below the Grand Touring? I thought it was above the Grand Touring Reserve in the Mazda6 line giving it the Turbo and a bunch more features not on the Grand Touring.
I don't think I've ever seen a car that nails all three. If they avoid the "tombstone" rear end that's good enough for me. Too many cars make tail lights very thin and out of the way so that the big empty space on the rear end looks like the tombstone from Jason Statham's car in Death Race.
The multimedia screen of the Mazda 3 and cx30 is more advanced and high quality. In addition, if the steering wheel is flat on the outside, as in the Mazda 3 and cx30, then there is a problem with the grip of the steering wheel.
Wish yall would of washed and waxed the outside and put some tire shine on to real show how good looking this cars is.. im late i know but yeah its always great to clean and get the vehicle shined up before showing it off.. it do makes a big differ.
Did the dealer put the badges on? Sig? and Turbo? If so STOP doing that, there is a reason why Mazda cars are classy. No dealer add-ons, please leave well enough alone. Thanks for the review though.
Because mazda 6 doesnt sell, they over priced the shit out of it. They fuck you over on trade values, and its due for a new model This may be the enthusiast pick, but no one buys them. Thats a fact. They could never shake the Ford affiliation
Ummmm Mazda and Ford parted ways a long time ago. Whereas the 08 Mazda6 I had was assembled by the UAW in a Ford plant in Flat Rock, MI that can’t be said for the 14 Mazda6 (and up). That’s all Mazda. Mazda has been on its own for years and now is rated #1 in reliability in the automotive world. They definitely make the sexiest coolest vehicles in their respective classes too. The 6 has the same issue as any other sedan. People don’t want them. They want crossovers and SUVs. Period.

I’ve heard some talk about that wheel before. I think I’m going to have to do a back to back drive comparison to see.

Those are Mazda badges. They’ve always added the Signature badge. Turbo was more recent because they wanted to distinguish the vehicles with a turbo.
