This Summer, I watched the Swallows near my home, flitting, darting, turning sharp, squealing with the delight of being alive and where they are, san aer... This music bottles in sound, my feelings and the aparent joy of the Swallows.
Stunning second album -- Irish traditional music stripped to it's bare roots and then reclassified -- stunning individual musical genius -- and Iarla brings sean nos slap bang into the 21st century. The ghosts of ancient musicians stir themselves and inhabit the music -- weaving their spirit between the chords --

You take out the manic, remove the St Vitus dance and you infill with harmony and a splash of love thats what you do. Beautifully woven and a voice to take you there.
