You are forming a beautiful collection of stamps. Your efforts will certainly be rewarding. I have noticed a few things that will help. At 5:18, the stamps inscribed “Escuelas” are from Venezuela, not Bolivia. Venezuela used that inscription on its stamps between 1871-1893. The overprinted stamps at 6:06 are from Wallis and Futuna Islands. They are a French overseas territory in the South Pacific. The Sudan stamps at 7:25 have watermark varieties which should be checked. The same goes for almost all the Australian stamps (including states) which you showed. On the Iraq page, at 7:41, you will find the 3 stamps on the 2nd row listed in Scott under Mesopotamia. I believe that the first 3 Iraqi stamps on the bottom row that you are asking about, at 7:58 are revenues. I don’t find them in my catalog. The last two stamps on that row are O178 and O196. They are the first stamps of the republic, and the way that they are overprinted shows that they are probably the product of a revolution. Indeed, there was a coup d’ etat in Iraq in 1958, the year these stamps were overprinted. Also, at 10:18, the words “Two Pence “printed on the 1 1/2 stamp from Australia are a surcharge. The OS stamps are overprints. The difference between a surcharge and an overprint on a stamp is that a surcharge changes the face value of the stamp while an overprint does not.

Hi there, those stamps at 6:20 (Commission du gouvernement de Haute-Silesie) or Government Commission of Upper Silesia Plebiscite Territory, were printed in Paris and issued in 1920. The territory was contested between Weimar Germany and Poland after the First World War. The plebiscite was mandated by the Treaty of Versailles.

The Iraqi overprints were issued by the new republic after the overthrow of the monarchy. Cheers Jason from Oz

It is really interesting to see the process of building a collection. Do you have an index for the collection to locate the stamps? I found that I had to create one to help me remember where stamps are.

Great video. I love North Borneo. You have #185 (big stamp with a man). Look for the next value up 4 cent with orangutan. Very colorful stamp. Sierra Leone made a lot of stamps in unusual shapes. Too bad your Samoa bisect is off paper. I have started collecting bisects and have 5 fortunately all cut squares so they are tied with a post mark. Early South and Central America has some very nice stamps. The Post Riders from Sudan are such beautiful stamps.

The North Borneo stamps with the oval cancel made up of lines are remainders, cancelled for the stamp marked, still collectable but not worth those that have been through the postal system.

My stamp dealer got me hooked on them 30 years ago. I helped him ou on his circuit books that went around Connecticut for the stamp clubs. He taught me alot and took care of me. His favorite was the Boyds covers. Hope I spelled it right. It's been 25 years for me.
