I don't live to die by it, but it helps in a lot of builds. And for the builds that it doesn't work for, I'll tote along some other pistol
I'm a bit of a Ninja Neil but in a good way. If we are in the midst of combat and loot drops, I grab it so that I can distribute it once combat is over, letting my teammates focus on the fighting without worrying about what the guys drop. Before anyone asks, I distribute it to what fits their playstyles/character. Currently my buddies are playing Zer0 and Mechromancer. I give the Mechro SMGs with high capacities, the Zer0 any sniper rifles, and I keep mostly elemental weapons due to me being Siren (currently specialized in support, but if we start struggling I can always spec into Cloudkill later lol)
5:50 I didn't even know that type of player existed before watching your stuff! There might not literally be "87 bazillion" viable options, but there are more than enough to allow tactical and logistic creativity. 7:26 Why did you say "is is?" That might irk Tannis. 8:46 What would you call the type of player who tries to take on Headstone Mine when they're severely under-level'd?
Even worse are the ones who duel repeatedly adding rules and stipulations as you cheated to win. Had a guy spend 8 hours TRYING to win when I just wanted to resume playing. He raged every loss.. first win I just hit back and ran spamming 4x magic missiles🤣🤣🤣KNOWING he wouldn't see squat once they came to him.
When I played on Xbox before I built my PC, I ran into a guy who literally dropped thousands of legendary and modded weapons like it was nothing. Then left the game like he was KING DICK. I did pick up some of the guns due to the fact that there were THOUSANDS of them. One of them being a master key modded sheild. That I now realized was pure garbage.
I am basically the opposite of Ninja neil. I usually loot sweep any trash item to sell and leave the good shit up to discussion with my friends. To be fair, we're playing BL3 right now, where you can basically discard all items below purple anyway...
I played with a pal who turned into a loot ninja and worse, a spec studier, every weapon he would go into menu and sit there studying the specs and comparing it with every other weapon, this on a home network, he would hold up the game for up to half an hour, had to give him the boot.
Shouting out the duplication glitch CHEESY CHAD!!! I've used it too tbh. I got a 94% sham after farming it for hours and hours....and hours, and duped it for a really close friend of mine who also plays bl2.
The only one that describes me is the speed runner, after my first playthrough I lose interest in exploring and just want try out builds. I wish they would include a lvl.30 quick start on every game.
I'd say so personally I was in the 600% range and would help others out. I'd tell them I turned it off several times was asked to turn it back on and go full force to speed it up and make it easier(usually uvhm/op range raid bosses)
6:41 I mean on that stuff it depends on the character and a lot of other things. Axton’s self healing for example is awful. So for that reason I feel like you need the grog to not die with him on op 10. As for guns. Again it depends.
@@0fficalHellfire what I mean is like for example, snipers are useless for gaige. With the exception of that one sniper from the commander Lilith dlc. Me personally I’m an axton main, I can do pretty good with explosive weapons and some elemental weapons. But when it comes to jakobs weapons with the exception of a few, I can’t do all that well with them. Just a few examples
I've been guilty of being speedrun sam and ninja Niel from time to time. But I generally slow down when I get the sense that the other person isn't having fun. But when it comes to loot I always take it right when I see it cause the people I play with do the same.
I will say, while there is still some build diversity in 2 at level 80, that’s a huge chunk of skills that have points spent in them, which makes them feel significantly more homogenized than if the level cap had just stayed at 72. And im my personal opinion, it gets even worse if you get to OP10, as it seems to me (I could be wrong, though) that at that point a lot of people who actually achieve that are farming for and relying on a lot of the same gear, like the Grog Nozzle, DPUH, maybe a 0 fuse slag Crossfire or a purple (×4 multiplier variant) Magic Missile I don’t know, maybe that‘s just my warped, cynical BL2 veteran attitude on the topic. Honestly they could randomly take away Digi Peak for whatever reason, just letting people reach level 72 or 80, and I think a lot of the balancing issues would be resolved, don’t really know if it would affect diversity of builds too much, rhough. Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
Na they won’t ever take Digi peak out. It’s completely optional anyway. But that’s a huge misconception. “That there’s only a couple of viable end game options” not quoting you btw, not mocking or anything but a lot of people still think this. I just recently did a top 5 non uniques in where I talked about all items that you haven’t mentioned that are super usable in op10. But on top of that, there’s dozens and dozens of guns usable at the end game. A lot of players just rely on what they know. Which is also just human nature you know. We do what’s comfortable for us, but borderlands is a game that rewards you for stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things Cause yeah, you’ll find that some weapons suck. A lot of guns at the end game of bl2 are super solid that aren’t the bee, Harold, pimp, sham, grog.
@Garnet_Anarchist Yeah, I realize there’s more than just a handful of things that work at OP10. What I was saying is the pervasive opinion is that there isn’t, and unfortunately, a lot of those people will hold to those beliefs no matter what, but there is always hopes of showing at least some of those people the light of truth.
Half my best/longest used gear in the end game were non unique purples tbh. Once I settled on what I wanted I ended up burning myself out on borderlands 2 farming it. Got my gaige to op6 geared out to op6 but yeah no real interest in going back to push it further after rngesus forsook me on bl2.. got ridiculously slow and bad the last lap as I wanted specific elements on 3 of the 4. And spent over a month from op5 gear to op6 gear playing 4-6 hours a day.. rebooting over and over hoping only one of the bosses would spawn in wildlife preserve as a corrosive deliverance was 1 of my wants.. kept getting op5 corrosive or non elemental op6
I’m personally not a fan what I like to call “Build Bully Bruce” these are the type of player that will constantly say that their build for a specific character is the best and everyone should copy his/her build and will absolutely ruin your testing and fun for not following their builds.
I see that shit all the time in MvM for Team Fortress 2… and the thought of people bullying you for your build in Borderlands makes me want to set my game to offline mode and never turning it on again
I love the fact you get exp for helping other players when downed. Me and my bros lol race to the other player to get the exp. We call one buddy ower exp farm lol
like i said on the first video, the worst type of player is the type that edits your character without your consent for any reason even if your cheating, all you gotta do if you don't like playing with someone is find another lobby not use whatever mod tool you have to sabotage their character because you think they are a cheater.
I used to be very opinionated, not about Borderlands but Destiny. The only Borderlands opinion I have is that while Borderlands 3 had some QOL improvements, it had a shit story.
I Think you covered all of them. Maybe there is the one. Unloyal coop buddy. Who allways plays solo just be ahead of you. I hate that. The true question is, what are the best players? Because I can't answer that myself
I rarely had a "loyal" group through the story or dlcs in 2. Had 1 loyal where neither of us would touch tiny tinas dlc unless we both were together . That ending hit us HARD even harder than expected as we were cracking jokes laughing the entire way loving it
I made the mistake of doing everything in normal and tvhm AFTER level cap raised to 72. Started uvhm with lvl 50 gear against lvl 57 enemies . Got interesting quick. Felt like my first few levels relearning how to play
One glitch I'll forgive for multiplayer is dupping. If you have a drop and multiple want it you can solve it pretty fast. Just dup the item and everyone's happy. Ik some ppl don't use any dups and I've had ppl turn it down. I don't push just okay and move on. Also when say specific characters kr guns are terrible they mean op10 axton isnt the worst tbh id argue gaige is. I played axton for the trophy and found the turret to be extremely good.
I'm the kind the of guy that give to People weapons, things I don't use at Sanctuary or after a though fight because I feel that they may need a better gear. Of course when they don't take it I'm not insisting for them to take the gear I dropped. Should I be included? Otherwise you should put golden key max that always opens 40 golden chest even when his gear is good at each return at Sanctuary
I am Speedrun Sam, its not to show off Ive just seen and heard all the shit there is in the game and I could not care less. I also exclusively play solo cuz I dont wanna ruin the game for other mfs
Ill give you one more and one that i am 100% at fault for and that's gunzerker garry, in bl2 i refuse to play anything else when i know i could have been playing Salvador 😅
Borderlands 3 still better really wish it didn’t melt my eyeballs every time I tried to shoot my gun or I was able to farm for more of my gear. And I wish the main story was better but other than that, the game plays 10 times better
Not a neccesarily bad type of player but just a bad habit that I and I'm sure many other people have. Let's call them Broke Brians because I always, especially in the early game, forget to sell items and instead will just throw them on the ground or not pick them up in the first place. I am always out of money
I am 100% an opinion owen... I went from not talking about my opinion to talking to much... Speaking of which, Now to go on about my opinions, about the build diversity, there is definitely build diversity in all the games I just find that for end game raid boss content in BL2 there is definitely a lot less build diversity than in either of the other main line games. I don't know as much about BL1 so I could be wrong on that front, but when it comes to BL3 it's possible to make gear that sucks on generalized builds and make them shine in end game true takedown content. Some of which can compete with meta builds despite normally being sacks of garbage on a generalized build. For example I have a build using the red card shield, almost no one uses that shield yet my 18 minute true guardian takedown run is faster then most players with meta gear and set ups. Some interesting mechanics were used, but nothing that was a bug I could avoid. I have several builds highlighting underused or bad weapons in true takedown content. I can't find very many people doing stuff that I do on BL2 that's raid boss competitive. It's not that there isn't options, it's more so that there are not as many options and playstyles as other games in the end game raid content. I just gave someone the other day a BL2 Axton build featuring the infinity pistol, it can blitz raid on digistruct peak really easily as long as you get the slag applied to the boss. When it comes to raid bosses in BL2 that build would probably get flattened by all of them. It can be used to get all the stuff you may want outside of raid killing, but it's falling apart at raid boss content. The boss would probably outheal the damage you do. Actually imma go test that once I get home to see how well it does, any suggestions for bosses to fight? Which would be the best to see if it's raid boss capable?
Did you do "META Marty in the last vid? That guy who uses the same build with the same gear every single time cus the interwebs said so, and will only use that specific gear... and then remind you constantly that you are wasting your time with that junk gear you enjoy using. Do you even farm, bro? If they don't have their god roll, they whine they coulda killed that boss with 3 shots instead of 4 if Gearbox pulled their head out their ass and fixed dedicated drop rates and listened to the real players and ect. They always seem to actually hate playing the game. These guys are worse in Destiny.
You pretty much do need a healing weapon on op10 or you just get health gated and get into ffyl every 3s unless you play super super slow and methodical which is not ideal. At least for me
@@0fficalHellfire and why would you use transfusion nades when the magic missle for slag, chain lightning (for instant heal), or fastball exists. Just a bad take imo there’s way better utility in the grenade slot
It’s manageable with a good fuse. And I’m not saying they’re better than moxxi weapons. I’m saying you don’t NEED moxxi weapons at the end game. Players have made it to OP10 in 1 life with not a single unique item. Trust me when I say. This game is nowhere as difficult as some think it is at the end game. (I’m not saying it’s easy, there’s a learning curve) but the misconceptions over the years have brought people to believe you need to crutch on certain items to perform in op10. Which is just not true.

My bud was the fastest ninja neil you would ever see. He plucked purples and legendaries right out of the air in front of me. Every time.
As a pure singleplayer, I have to cheese sometimes to see the Raid Bosses go down.
another good video hellfire keep it up
I’ll die on the hill that assault rifles in bl2 are good, especially vladof and torgue
Same
Same.
Number 4 is a pretty interesting choice. And i actually agree with you on it. Ive been told and seen people on youtube say things about certain characters being bad, like you pointed out people saying axton is bad or something like that. Ive heard the same about roland in bl1, i recently started playing roland for the first time and i gotta say hes actually really fun to play. His action skill helps me get out of sticky situations too and his skill tree is actually good in my opinion especially for the bland skill tree bl1 had, dont bother me too much though it is an old game
No Dps David? "Umm, you know you could increase your dps by 2% if you farmed {lootsource} for 2,5 h? You are dealing less than optimal dmg." We are playing on normal, it does not matter.
I guess he is sort of similar to Thaddeus, though.
That’s more like elitist earl 😂
Spreadsheet sams
Had 2 of those "helping" me and a friend getting op 8 on bl2 before commander lillith. They were crying at me for being built and geared badly but I was outlasting both of them as is regardless which of their maxed characters they brought.. watched them both get stomped at the end of op 8 run they rage quit when I soloed it in a 4 player room with level 72 gear.. I still grin remembering it
I myself is a ninja neil because my brother is a loot goblin, i just pick it up, see if i want it or nah and just throw it. i mainly only use revolvers/shotguns, found you randomly and just started watching, and i hate side quests in general, i speed run them because i want xp so i don’t be underleveled in the story, but uh yeah, keep up the work, take care.
6:45 this is a perfect example of confirmation bias
(just prior to this, knowledge from random youtube videos is referenced)
Go back through and count How many times I said “my opinion” at least 3 that I think of off the top of my head 😂 quite literally say that in the same segment you’re time stamping. All ranking videos have some sort of opinion
@@0fficalHellfire yes i'm aware you quite literally say that in the same segment, that's why i time stamped it lmao....i was agreeing with you and pointing out to viewers a good example of confirmation bias "one experience they had but they blame it on the game because they heard someone say that before"
@@FronzelNeekburm I see, I see. I thought you were just trying to say I was bias 😂like yeah, every ranking video ever is bias lol. I understand what you mean now though. Thanks for clarifying

I am a Harold Warrior, but I try to keep it respectful and use Claptrap's Safe, farm for them myself in my own time (between sessions), or just straight-up offer "yo I got a Harold you want it?" I don't live to die by it, but it helps in a lot of builds. And for the builds that it doesn't work for, I'll tote along some other pistol
When I play typically ask only for Jakobs pistols as long as I get 1st dibs on those you get 1st dibs on everything else
Grognozzle Gary: Let's get a Groggggggggg. Use a Groggggg. Just use a grogggg.
Maybe I'm an Opinion Owen on this. Lol
These videos are amazing 😂
5:50 I didn't even know that type of player existed before watching your stuff! There might not literally be "87 bazillion" viable options, but there are more than enough to allow tactical and logistic creativity.
7:26 Why did you say "is is?" That might irk Tannis.
8:46 What would you call the type of player who tries to take on Headstone Mine when they're severely under-level'd?
I hate pvp players who come in and fight then leave
Even worse are the ones who duel repeatedly adding rules and stipulations as you cheated to win. Had a guy spend 8 hours TRYING to win when I just wanted to resume playing. He raged every loss.. first win I just hit back and ran spamming 4x magic missiles🤣🤣🤣KNOWING he wouldn't see squat once they came to him.
Playing as the same character with several level 72 over and over.... I know someone who just plays as Maya.
I'm that weird player that doesn't care about builds and just uses whatever gun looks cool.
The only grinding i hate is the fastball and harold. My luck is absolutely horrible with them
Shouting out the duplication glitch CHEESY CHAD!!! I've used it too tbh. I got a 94% sham after farming it for hours and hours....and hours, and duped it for a really close friend of mine who also plays bl2.
On the topic of the #2, if I had the time or an easy way to farm them, I would totally try to get each element for the e-tech vladoff ARs
Feel called out as a speed run sam
Cheesy Chad here, checks out😂😭
The only one that describes me is the speed runner, after my first playthrough I lose interest in exploring and just want try out builds.
I wish they would include a
lvl.30 quick start on every game.
Just play games that cater to you because that kind of thinking is why modern gaming has died.
Ninja neil and no thumbs thaddeus bruh I'm dead😂
How did Blade manage to drink himself into this videos thumbnail
Had a random dude come into my game on BL2 and use a ridiculously modded Ahab type weapon. Shot a ton of harpoons and crashed the game out.
I just can't stand the dudes that join my game nuking the maps with modded weapons
I have 999.8 for all my stats for badass rank... i did it by doing a glitch. but. When i play with other players i turn it off, am i Okay?
I'd say so personally I was in the 600% range and would help others out. I'd tell them I turned it off several times was asked to turn it back on and go full force to speed it up and make it easier(usually uvhm/op range raid bosses)
6:41 I mean on that stuff it depends on the character and a lot of other things. Axton’s self healing for example is awful. So for that reason I feel like you need the grog to not die with him on op 10. As for guns. Again it depends.
Not true
@@0fficalHellfire what I mean is like for example, snipers are useless for gaige. With the exception of that one sniper from the commander Lilith dlc.
Me personally I’m an axton main, I can do pretty good with explosive weapons and some elemental weapons. But when it comes to jakobs weapons with the exception of a few, I can’t do all that well with them. Just a few examples
2.35 that should have been the trailer nice edited
The speed run guys are easy to pick out, they are always jumpling for no reason whenever they move.
And im my personal opinion, it gets even worse if you get to OP10, as it seems to me (I could be wrong, though) that at that point a lot of people who actually achieve that are farming for and relying on a lot of the same gear, like the Grog Nozzle, DPUH, maybe a 0 fuse slag Crossfire or a purple (×4 multiplier variant) Magic Missile
I don’t know, maybe that‘s just my warped, cynical BL2 veteran attitude on the topic.
We do what’s comfortable for us, but borderlands is a game that rewards you for stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things
Cause yeah, you’ll find that some weapons suck.
I like doing everything fast because it activates my monkey brain and makes it feel like it's doing something cool
Damn Speedrun Sam hit me different 😂😂😂
early upload today 🎉❤
I’m personally not a fan what I like to call “Build Bully Bruce” these are the type of player that will constantly say that their build for a specific character is the best and everyone should copy his/her build and will absolutely ruin your testing and fun for not following their builds.
I see that shit all the time in MvM for Team Fortress 2… and the thought of people bullying you for your build in Borderlands makes me want to set my game to offline mode and never turning it on again
The fact that you uses onlyusmeblade as the thumbnail made me laugh.
I use to be the number 5 guy and Ninja Neil but I'm changed my ways
I'm uh.... I'm feeling a little called out for something I don't do
Blade can be used in any video with “worst” in the title lol
I love the fact you get exp for helping other players when downed. Me and my bros lol race to the other player to get the exp. We call one buddy ower exp farm lol
Is it a bad thing that I don't do op levels in bl2 because I have more fun playing without it.
Don't feel bad Op levels are literally half the reason I play 3
You forgot The Rhackie. It's an entire SPECIES of worst Borderlands players. Well, not exactly players, but still.
like i said on the first video, the worst type of player is the type that edits your character without your consent for any reason even if your cheating, all you gotta do if you don't like playing with someone is find another lobby not use whatever mod tool you have to sabotage their character because you think they are a cheater.
How has it been going with TH-cam? Have any videos gotten strikes?
from air soft fatty to only use me blade 😂
I used to be very opinionated, not about Borderlands but Destiny. The only Borderlands opinion I have is that while Borderlands 3 had some QOL improvements, it had a shit story.
I play solo and i am a bit of a spec studier, if its close i just pick the better of the two.
I Think you covered all of them. Maybe there is the one.
Unloyal coop buddy. Who allways plays solo just be ahead of you. I hate that.
The true question is, what are the best players? Because I can't answer that myself
😂
I rarely had a "loyal" group through the story or dlcs in 2. Had 1 loyal where neither of us would touch tiny tinas dlc unless we both were together . That ending hit us HARD even harder than expected as we were cracking jokes laughing the entire way loving it
In bl2 i speedrun through normal mode and start slowing down to uvhm
I made the mistake of doing everything in normal and tvhm AFTER level cap raised to 72. Started uvhm with lvl 50 gear against lvl 57 enemies . Got interesting quick. Felt like my first few levels relearning how to play
Now to wait until Schiller6 calls your opinion out and solidify what type of player he is lol
so true
One glitch I'll forgive for multiplayer is dupping. If you have a drop and multiple want it you can solve it pretty fast. Just dup the item and everyone's happy. Ik some ppl don't use any dups and I've had ppl turn it down. I don't push just okay and move on. Also when say specific characters kr guns are terrible they mean op10 axton isnt the worst tbh id argue gaige is. I played axton for the trophy and found the turret to be extremely good.
Agreed on all of them. they all need to find another game to play
Agreed😂
I'm the kind the of guy that give to People weapons, things I don't use at Sanctuary or after a though fight because I feel that they may need a better gear.
Of course when they don't take it I'm not insisting for them to take the gear I dropped.
Should I be included?
Otherwise you should put golden key max that always opens 40 golden chest even when his gear is good at each return at Sanctuary
I am Speedrun Sam, its not to show off Ive just seen and heard all the shit there is in the game and I could not care less. I also exclusively play solo cuz I dont wanna ruin the game for other mfs
As an Owen I definitely have my opinions
😂😂
If you have a pc you can make these modded weapons on your own.
Hey now we can skip the story to level 72 so that's nice
you forger one gooner ben... i think you know what i mean....
uh oh part 2 😂
Not a neccesarily bad type of player but just a bad habit that I and I'm sure many other people have. Let's call them Broke Brians because I always, especially in the early game, forget to sell items and instead will just throw them on the ground or not pick them up in the first place. I am always out of money
That’s good one too haha. I’ve played with ppl who that always happens to 😅 let’s call em Broke Bills since we already got the Bl3 Brian’s from part 1
My brother is definitely #2!!
'Black Rarity' aka shitty modded guns. If you're gunna use gibbed to edit your guns, at least do it right so it passes the sanity check.
I am 100% an opinion owen... I went from not talking about my opinion to talking to much... Speaking of which,
Now to go on about my opinions, about the build diversity, there is definitely build diversity in all the games I just find that for end game raid boss content in BL2 there is definitely a lot less build diversity than in either of the other main line games.
Boosting basil he doesn't wanna play the game he just let's others grind his levels for him and wants god rolls for nothing
Hahahah this vid is hilarious.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Nathan Hendrickson
I'm waitin 4 u.

You pretty much do need a healing weapon on op10 or you just get health gated and get into ffyl every 3s unless you play super super slow and methodical which is not ideal. At least for me
Ever used some transfusion nades?
@@0fficalHellfire yes. You have to wait for those stupid ass hearts in the air and by time they reach you, you’re dead
@@0fficalHellfire no I don’t think you need them but I think they balanced the endgame with them in mind. And unless you’re extremely good at the game you’re not surviving the peak without at least a Rubi
can’t belive St4rkiller left you like that, smh
