What happens if the values are not in ascending or descending? For example if I have the values for 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011 and I want to know and intermediate years?
Hi, nice video.. Just a few questions. How can I quote this example in a investigation job or better which is the academic reference about this?. And last, this trend example to extrapolation doesn´t matter if the curve is linear, exponencial, logaritmic, etc? thank a lot for your video
+Luis Just say: Dr. Gerard M. Verschuuren, Trends, interpolation, and extrapolation, on TH-cam. Or perhaps better, a reference to my book Excel 2013 for Scientists, Holy Macro Books, 2014, Uniontown, Ohio. See also my th-cam.com/video/XRugOfsyD08/w-d-xo.html

You’re a saint! Thank you!
thank you! this video helped me how to extrapolate in Excel, all the other sources in the search engine aren't helpful at all!
Your video helps me a lot! Thanks so much!
What do I do if the extrapolated value falls off the trendline
Thank you so much. really helps me finish up my assignment !! :)
Excellent explanation. Thank you very much!!!
thanks , Dr. Gerard Verschuuren
how can i determine the value of any point on graph by moving the cursor
I saw so many videos but only this video is fruit full
How to find the intersection point of two intersecting curves which are drawn from experimental data ??
Thank you sir 🙏
Brilliant video thanks
Thank you!❤️👍👍👍
Thank you Sir, that really helped!
Very helpful. Thanks a lot
nice video....

Thank you so much! Definitely helped! :)
Thank youuuu forever
great video. thanks mate!
Thank you so so so soooo much I love you!!!!
my graph is not showing coordinates on it
I need an exact equation of "Linear regression extrapolation for time series data forecasting", can anyone help me?
So, say I know the y value, but need the x value. Is there another function like trend that lets me do that?
Just switch x and y! Or use the functions SLOPE and INTERCEPT and then the formula x = slope * y + intercept.
pls hw do I get your CD
what about new y
Thank you soooo much!
Thank you
How the whole data is changing when you are replacing the value of 2013 with 2050
thnx :D
pls hw do I get your CD
