the Shinigami from Death Note have got to be my favourite depiction of god-like figures with their rules of no interference and the consequences of interference thereof
I really wanna hear takes about the relationships between humans and gods

If I were the Devil, I'd convince people that I'm God by making them kneel or suffer eternal torment at the behest of a 'truly monstrous being' who runs that circus for me because it had the audacity to defy me despite being a 'servant of my will alone', incapable of free will according to my own laws. Oh wait....I already did that at Nicaea. Twice.
A convincing devil is never revealed as a devil until it is too late to see them as anything other than a devil. Like realizing you're a villain when you thought you were a hero or vice versa. A convincing devil is capable of good and evil in equal measure so as to appear powerful, capable, confident, intelligent, etc. This is how they convince others or conquer them. It would seem I have a devil and an angel upon my shoulders. Who do they serve? I hope this is getting through to someone.

Saying "Lucifer = Satan" is like saying "lights on = dark room".
The character at Isaiah 14:12, when read in context, is actually Nebuchadnezzar- King of Babylon, not "Satan".
The word Lucifer means Morningstar or lightbringer but the words Satan and Devil mean adversary, accuser, or slander.
The word used at Isaiah 14:12 is a translation of the Hebrew word הֵילֵל, hêlēl, meaning "Shining One".
Just ask yourself, who are the ones accusing and slandering? Spoiler alert, It's the religious people that are doing the accusing and slandering.

Here is some writing advice for you. Define what a devil is first. Loki is a trickster god, not truly good or evil, so calling him evil is misleading to people. Define what good and evil is as well. Use more defined words as well. You should have said "antagonist" instead of 'devil'. Then you can ask why is the Antagonist is in opposition with the divine powers of the world. Saying 'devil' is like you are talking to children.

He doesn't even talk about the strengths and weaknesses of the antagonist. Omens that effect the story of the antagonist, maybe there is a child of a pure heart that could slay the antagonist. Fire control how lame. Elemental control, some antagonists use ice or water. Bad advice given again. What about when the antagonist is misunderstood, could be a good entity, but what people know is a lie.

I don't think he knows much about Loki , maybe he seen the Avengers way too many times. Loki was a trickster god, not truly evil. Loki was mistreated by the other Norse gods and was pushed into doing some bad things. It is complex to answer. Calling him an example for being a devil is silly at best. This content creator lacks knowledge in his videos, I think he is more about quantity over quality. His diversity in his examples is pathetic, only using white male gods as sources. Why can't there be a female devil? Are you too afraid to name a black devil?

Considering that in most pagan faiths, prayers and sacrifices were brough to the gods not to thank or praise them but to apease them, to ward off their ire. Gods were not good, they were terrible. At best, they were indifferent to the fates of mortals. An antagonist who opposes tyrannical or violent gods would be a good thing. Prometheus was a Devil, and Antagonist, a rebel against divine order and doctrine. He was most definitely a boon to humanity.

It doesn't say antagonist in the title, it says Devil! Related, but different concepts. And yes, Loki is absolutely depicted as a Devil in Snorre's sagas. I know he was not a devil in the original interpretation of the mythology, BUT Snorre was a christian and he presented Loki as a devil like figgure.
That said... it would be good to also touch upon the things you are asking for in the video.

on your point about rebellion and temptation
since my manga has celestials and humans, my devil character would be the humam who rebelled and murdered the celestial patriarch after tempting humans to go to war with them so they can get their powers...which they do
and the current "devil" who is tormenting humans is a celestial being who is taking revenge on all humans for what that one human did

Have you ever read 'The Harbinger of Doom' book series? It's one of my favorites, and I couldn't help but remark at the similarity of the plot.
Nothing's the same, just the 'good guy' was once an angel now immortalized as a devil by the world who fights against his 'creator' and his fellow angels who have deviated (or should I say, turned) from their path and have become the real demons and devils, while still being worshipped as the 'good guys'.
If you're into Norse mythology, I'd recommend you check out this series 😀

Loki is not a devil figure. That is a misinterpretation created by obvious mistranslations and when you actually look at it, you realize that he's bassically the guy they call to fix all of their problems and although he has caused a lot of them, he still fixed the ones he caused. In turn, his children are forced to endure horrible lives because of Odin's paranoia. He might have caused Ragnarök, but if you examine the original legends it's not only justified, but a good thing, as it is what leads to the death of the selfish old gods and the birth of the world we live in today.
TL:DR Loki in the original myths is actually a heroic rebel, not a villainous one. Watch OSP's video on Loki for more info.

Another great breakdown. What I really enjoy is how your examples trigger memories of past stories I've read that exemplify your examples, helping to solidify the information.
