great interview! i appreciate it whenever interviewers allow guests to talk more and don't interrupt them. it makes it feel much less like an interview and more like just hanging out.

Regarding The Greek Theater, Neil Diamond recorded a live album there in 1972 called “Hot August Night”. At one point he gives a shout out to the people hiding in the trees “Tree people I’m playing for you too!”

I had the longest dream about Haim at the weekend. By the way, long time fan here, since about 2012. We hung out in Ljubljana and I was trying to show them where I was from on TH-cam and nothing worked-the keyboard, or I couldn’t type or the internet wouldn’t connect... It was a nightmare and it seemed to last for hours. But we managed to hang out which was really cool.

I worked on the movie Purple Rain, on the scenery crew and painted ALL the locations too.
A whole lot of stories there, esp. about dancing at First Avenue, super briefly, with PRN,
and the only way to "get close" to him...
...was to be a oxy dealer. Really, he would not talk to anyone.
Sad yet let this be a warning to you gals, all those mad dance moves and jumps he did required some major pain relievers, and this addiction took him from us, early on.
