I have a mint condition Praktica IV from around 1963 with an old Zeiss Biotar lens and it works 100% perfectly, the lens is surprisingly sharp even when compared to modern ones. I can't imagine one of todays digital SLR's still working in 45 years time!
Yeah, I have four Prakticas: a BCS, an LTL-3, an MTL-50 and a Nova 1b, like the one in the video. They are great cameras. I love the clunky solidness of them, and the CHUNK sound when you click the shutter release,
Exactly why I still prefer film to digital. My 40 or 50 year old cameras take WAY better photos than my 10MP digital SLR. Although when I use my Zeiss Jena lenses with the digicam, then the pics are alot more tolerable. :-)

Have several of these cameras. In some circles they were unfairly dissed. A couple of mine are 50 years old and still work great.
