Why do you need a sunroof in a hot hatch😂 it supposed to be producing more than abarth right? but no, its the same 120 bhp you will get in the n line😂 and even a 2016 ford figo has less but still it easily beats both of these even your famous polo. Hyundai makes less to no-profit on its N-Lines. But iits presence elevates the Brand image of Hyundai as a driver oriented cars too. Also it warms the market to launch its N cars in coming days. I own N6 manual. 9.99L is absolute bang for buck
Hyundai is never gonna launch their full N versions in India. I was one of the first to order the Abarth in India and I have done my share of begging to Hyundai officials to bring the full fledged N versions in India and all I've gotten are negative responses so ...
Under no circumstances this is a hot hatch. In a cost sensitive market like ours, brands will be best to bring a few cbu units. N line is nothing but a pretence!
As an owner of the N8 manual, don't get any tune on this GL3C engine. Its suffers from a weak PCV and your turbo will start eating oil. Avoid conical filters and downpipes. The engine is already running an extremely high compression ratio and is maxed out from the factory within safe limits. Overall as a vehicle it's pretty good.
8:45 Polo was goat in terms on engine that’s it. Other than that i20 n line offers you everything which Vw failed to offer with Polo. No offence but i20 n line is far better than Polo.
The GOAT statement was seems to be more for selling the which is for sale i guess. Because the GOAT which you mentioned is discontinued because it is no more a GOAT. The design and details what I20 give is unmatched, the refinement is unmatched, controls and stability, and suspension is upto to the mark even if not best.. features unmatched. Btw, I20 is not a killer of altroz.. it was already there, altroz was brought to kill I20 with there comparitively small sunroof, ventilated seats and unrefined engine and hotwheels toy like design from 2005 which actually made no sense.. I20 was already in next level. In India by far this is the best looking hatchback ever.. although the price is on higher side, specially in blr like region where the on road price goes till 14L for N8 manual. I would rather spend another 2 lakhs and go with sedan. [Of course not a gimiki SUV no offense against OEM because they are doing the business what they will do what masses ask for.] Polo was best in its time. But now.. I20 has taken the place of best hatchback in the market. Maybe the power is yet lesser thaf polo GT but overall I20 has done the best atleast untill germans come back with an even better hatchback.
Although the N-line manual has been reviewed by multiple automotive journalists, I really thought you would have reviewed the manual version considering you have reviewed the DCT version before. The manual transmission actually enhances the drive experience to the point that more reviews would be greatly appreciated. As an informed N line N6 Manual owner, i can say that the DCT lag at low speeds/rpm has been significantly reduced ,in fact almost eliminated which is why it makes so much sense. Also with regards to modifications, I would highly suggest refraining from doing so as mentioned below( Weak PCV, Small intercooler etc). The car's chassis can definitely handle more power but until someone comes up with a solution then avoid it. What a great car, Hyundai! You have come a long way especially compared to the first gen I20 which i myself had haha
As an I20 nline manual owner drive the manual one and say about it. I have seen stock polo dsg ones has always seen my taillights. Am running bmc air filter stock tyres, stock 16s and dr nano lowering springs.

I believe that this chasis and suspension setup of the i20 Nline can still handles a bit more power like 140-150 bhp but Hyundai doesn't provide that much power in it which is a bummer. If they somehow replace this engine with verna's 1.5 turbo and launch it as i20N especially for India😂 that would be phenomenal.
@@Car_Factory_007 Ik it's not like idk, especially Hyundai & Mitsubishis are known for detuning their engines a lot for their original figures, forget abt. extra potential when stock, maybe to not intimidate other brands. The fact is that Hyundai already has a more breathable 1.5l tgdi with 200hp & 280Nm torque tune, more than some 1.6l tgdis, but it's put in their heavy cuvs so it doesn't become explosive, I just wish they detune delete the 1.6l tgdi a bit in N & atleast give 1.5l tgdi as N-line in India with the 200hp ver. not 160hp.
I had the same thoughts after buying N-line recently.. the suspension & steering has enough potential to accommodate the 1.5 Tgdi engine.. would be a more well round option with 4 cyl engine and FE will also be not so much lower..
@@vishnujayakrishnan-vj5646 yes fuel economy wouldn't be an issue as the car would be lighter than verna/seltos/Creta but I think they need to extend it's length like European i20N model in order to accommodate the engine hence more taxes and it would be priced similarly like verna turbo or even more
Hyundai India can't bring the real i20 N to India it's going to be damn expensive, but they can do one thing just do RND install that 1.5L 4 cylinder turbo petrol engine from new Verna to i20 N Line model and launch it before EV tooks all over India. so that petrol heads in india can experience a hot hatchback for a last time ❤

Bro, that overheating issue was because of a coolant pipe tightener. Go watch Tushar Goyal video on why it was happening. It has nothing to do with the engine or gearbox
