- This is my playthrough of the third mission from the El Cid campaign in Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition. I'll be placing time stamps for each part of the scenario in the comments section for those looking for a specific part. Enjoy!
El Cid mission 3 is relatively easy if you get some early aggression in on Count Berenguer. Pretty enjoyable though. Stay tuned for the rest of my Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition Hard Playthrough!
The El Cid campaign has a pretty awesome story that goes along with it. I especially love narration style, through the eyes of Ximena Diaz.

Being an exile took a serious toll on the Cid's voice.
ShadowCrystallux!!!.
I just sort of cheesed it. Once I got the villagers, just took my starting army and destroyed the gate and thier town center. Purple resigns!
So far the Spanish campaign is no major challenge. Fairly easy even on hard.
Especially after playing a lot of other missions, when I re-visited a little of this campaign I appreciated how simple it was in parts 😂
