Now this is good stuff! Super colab for sure! I'm really enjoying focusing on pvp this time round after year's of playing. As a very low spender (think along a monthly gem pack every 3 month's) I have foud that the amount of kit knowledge and champ\meta counter knowledge I've had to learn and figure out with what I have, its really helped me extract much more, much quicker in game and I've had way more fun because of it. Hoping to see more of this dynamic duo in future colabs!

Haha, Donkey Kong! I had the video playing while I was farming some stuff in V rising. It's interesting how the metas are really because I'm sure if you were to talk about my meta here in Silver it would be vastly different.
About strategy, I think it's pretty underrated how strategic you have to be. There are so many times where I made what I thought was a minor mistake which ultimately lost me the round!
Donkey Kong back at ya! And yeah people drastically underestimate the importance of strategy in this game because it is pay to win. The thing I always say is at the top level everyone has spent a ton of money so strategy matters still. Thanks for watching!

After years of bad luck, in the last months plarium gave me Galathir, Toshiro, and Siphi, im still bad at PvP, but now im thinking of doing it more often.

Anyone who genuinely thinks Armanz is not overpowered is guaranteed level 60 or below.
I've also noticed some f2p players who are in denial cause they don't want him nerfed. Armanz is completely broken

Until they fix others they need to leave him alone he can be countered like any champ lvl 96 spender with a decent roster and I don't completely agree. He's a great champ and I happen to have 2 of him thanks to the latest 25% event. If he's built right yeah he is a menace but he is not a guaranteed win 🤣 he's not as broken as y'all act like he is. The ones crying about him either don't know how or don't have the champs to counter him. Plus in live you can just ban him. He's working as intended just like the Ukraine duo and many other absurd champs.

Donkey Kong! Great collab guys. I mostly agree with all your counters. I will say that how to counter each depends heavily on whether or not you are running go first teams or go second teams as the strategies can very dramatically for each. As someone who mostly uses go first a few key counters I would include are quintus for taras/harima as he can easily 1 shot either one.
Another one that didn't get mentioned at all is the Life Harvest blessing as a counter to most revivers, but particularly against narses ankora as if you can take out narses once the life harvest blessing will completely neutralize his damage going forward, it will also mean you'll get a nice turn meter boost whenever ankora revives him which will more often than not result in your champions taking a turn before him, especially if you have a support with evil eye mastery than can push his turn meter back.
Very good points! I've seen you use the Life Harvest blessing against Narses on your streams. And yeah also true about who is going first versus not. That super fast Kaja/Georgid combo has been working nice for you!

Edit: Great discussion, and that idea of each player getting a blind ban before anyone starts picking champions is easily the best idea I've heard for making live arena better. Plarium hire these two + Saph to balance the game!

For Mikage the best counter would be Rhonda paired with a cleanse/turn meet or boost champion with high res or stone skin like Kaja Rhonda’s passive prevents decrease turn meter effects. That and stoneskin champs

Thank you! Go with 1 turn Stoneskin with lots of resist to avoid Polymorph and a ton of accuracy. More accuracy than resist but both are needed. Good speed as well. Good luck!

Thank you! Balance is the most important thing for sure. It's my number one desire always.
1:03:20 one really underrated champion is Emic Trunkheart who puts up unkillable and taunt and also resets your cooldowns by 1 turn + can increase enemy cooldowns if he has shield. I use him very often vs very strong Taras and Narses teams that I know I can't survive against otherwise.

Awesome vid man. Ive been wanting this colab for awhile i watch both of you guys to get my pvp fix. Yall are sleeping on alot of champs one in particular is fenax especially now with empowerment he smacks so hard and his a1 is block revive, my main counter to everything is my gharol in 9 piece slayer not much can survive her destructive force she wipes most teams with ease and if slayer procs forget it. Thanks for yet another great video man. Built different. 💪💪💪

Ankora is a pretty good counter against mikage because she protects your nuker. And UDK is decent as well the same way he is decent against siphi. A big counter for Siegfrund not mentioned is gizmak. Big counter for siphi not mentioned is Krixia. She completely shuts her down if you have six star temporal chains on her. Magic champs are so good against krixia because she has a 35% chance of her lockout not working. Ankora works well. Or any magic nuker. Alaz is another great counter to Harima.

I have my Krixia with 6 star temp chains and she works wonders against Siphi. My Krixia has 860 resistance so Polymorph seemed less useful than temp chains.

One of my favorite counters to Galathir is Fenax. A1 block revive. You can usually go faster than galathir and block revive the nuker. But I'm not playing against high level players, so I'm sure that strat wouldn't work against a great player.
Fenax is a great counter at the lower level for sure. Higher level he's always built in stoneskin and reaction so very tough to kill him even if you're faster.

He’s decent but not as good as Eva or Harima or UDK.

Doc uses gismak all the time he barely get sheeped
One thing i would add is that harima can get countered by narses if they have something like nekreth or bolster on the team. His double hit still can kill her through her passive and because her low hp she can be even block revieved by a very well build Mezomel or Narses. Even my Mezomel with pretty underwhelming gear does 60-70k dmg with the double hit to the harimas i face in Gold 1 live arena. Eddit: Donkeykong XD

I hear you , but you did say that turning some of the champs you mentioned into sheep was the counter. I’m just saying that if you get THEM to turn into sheeps then target them instead
Ah got it. So the issue there is it becomes harder to kill them directly in sheep form unless you have a multi hitter ability since they pop out of sheep and don't die right away on a 1 hit. But they're definitely less threatening when sheeped so there's that haha

I just hope guys like you can shake the meta up..I’m not a big brain…I just have a fast siphi and Sigmund. Sig can drop sheep also with the A1 just not forever like my Fenax and Eva

Im not high in LA, but my wukong usually anihilates harimas most of the time anyways, i think affinity makes it a more balanced matchup, probably not in higher tiers
