    Track days are fun. By the end of the day you start to get it. Different to the street. Working your way into it is the best way.

    The rev light was never reset from new, they will flash on a 7K rpm unless you reset them. Easy to reset it where you want I have mine set at 12K so I'll know the redline is coming up.

      Haha yeah it's about time to change the rev light :-P

      I wish I had the motivation for a track day. We have a couple of decent areas fairly close to me. Looks like it was fun.

    how do you like the mt10 on the track? im buying one in spring, i might keep my zx6r for the track tho. Ive heard dragging foot pegs on the mt10 is kind of a common problem on track?

    • @endasthenrik516
      @endasthenrik516  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is really fun but bit awkward when you really start to go faster because of the handlebar position. Yea, footpegs need to be changed too.

    Track days are addictive! And what a great track, would love to ride Sepang some day. Just gotta fit the crash protection to mine and I'll give Phillip Island a go later this year. 👍🏼 How bad is the wind blast at 240+?

    • @endasthenrik516
      @endasthenrik516  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      They sure are addictive! Just came back from second run at Sepang :-P
      I have never had a fully faired bike so for me it is not bad at all! The small wing in the front actually works and you can tuck under the wind blast.

    Not much wrong with the way you rode. Better to start easy, then you can do the Rossi thing later.

      Barry Roberts Thanks! Yea that's how I see it too. Slow and steady figuring out the technique😜. Went back to Sepang last weekend and felt much better.

    Great stuff Alf - what a buzz to get out onto Sepang !!! Did you get used to the pegs touching down in the end?

      Hey thanks! Yea it's an awesome track. Yes finally after 3 more trackdays after this one, I can finally just let it slide through.... now with removed feelers... or actually its more my knee and toe that is doing the touchdown now.
      Should upload a new vid after next trackday in March. :-)

    takes a long time to learn to ride fast. relax and go a few mph faster round the corners each time you go round, and before long you will be going round them 30mph faster.

    Why did you use std mode

    • @endasthenrik516
      @endasthenrik516  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! I find that the throttle is too twitchy in other modes. Specially want it smooth in the turns.

    • @SmokinZen
      @SmokinZen 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      So do you mostly use std I am having trouble adapting to the FZ10 I was used the Fireblade smoothness didn’t realize how spoiled I was.

    • @endasthenrik516
      @endasthenrik516  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I do use std most of the time. And I actually had a ecu reflash that made things even worse. But after a lot of tuning of the throttle control it is almost getting back to normal. Is your FZ10 stock?
