Awesome review brother.. just getting back into bowling. You actually pulled my 8 year old son in the booth in Kokomo last year and I'm a huge fan of yours. I have to go buy a ball today I was going to get the pearl IQ from storm.. but now I might go with that chrome hammer if he has it . Man I need to put this up or I'll end up buying the whole shop

That pattern looks like the modified McFlabberwoozie as used in the 1974 Rumble in Reykjavik tournament. Good review Mike!

What is your speed and rev rate ?
Have bowled with the Envy Tour since it came out. love a solid black ball. I am speed dominant at 17mph with a low rev rate of 290. Most often play up @ 7 to 8 board outside the second arrow. Love this ball with its continuous hook mid lane to the pocket. If I miss out it still turns the corner and if I miss in with more oil it picks up speed and still does not over shoot the pocket. Very predictable ball m motion with no real surprises. When the lanes brake down and have to move in the ball still goes through the pins clean. Love this over my benchmark Black Widow 2.0 which I have to transition to when the lanes are burnt up or drier.
Mark I’m just getting back into bowling this season after 5 years off and use the hammer BW 2.0. It sounds like we bowl the same way. High speed low rev. When I’m on the BW performs well but struggle to get hook on certain oil patterns and it’s the only ball I have. Any advice on a second ball?

Nice 3 ball for the league but if you'd choose only 2, which one would you bowl for the league? My other ball is a Hammer spare ball. I don't want to bring 4 ball every time I go to the lanes.
If I change my mind, I'd bring all of this 3 Envy balls + my Hammer spare ball.
I'm thinking the Envy Tour and Envy Pearl + my Hammer spare ball for league play and occasional tournaments.
The Extreme Envy may just be too extreme for my style of play.

Excellent review of the Envy lineup. Can you elaborate on the layout you used on each ball.
I'll try to get you specific numbers, but I usually use the same layout for everything. The pin is just above the ring finger in the two new Envys and the Envy Tour black is partially drilled through the ring with the mass bias just barely kicked to the right. I used to like the straight up and down 12 o'clock drill, but I've been shifting my mass bias about an inch right which puts it at about 11:30 compared to my span. Thanks!

So I am a low rev/low speed (13mph) senior bowler... using a Radical Outer Limits for medium oil, a Hammer Nu Blue Hammer for dry lanes, and want a recommendation for oily lanes (currently using a Brunswick Infinity but it is similar with the outer limits). High track bowler and like the control shape. Any suggestions? Do like the higher RG and lower dif balls to get me down the lane before it burns up

Envy series is great. The Envy Tour is a great benchmark ball that helps you control the lane on even your worst days. If you are looking for a ball that hooks more and is at a great price point, maybe try the Arctic Vibe if you can handle a white bowling ball, or if not that, perhaps try the Hammer Effect.

Envy Tour pearl is a sleeper. The Envy Tour gets so much attention, the pearl is even better and more versatile
The Pearl definitely responds to oil a lot stronger.
