The mic is the opposite of a speaker. so it pick up the sound vibrations from speakers and loops it back at the frequency of the "hum" from the speakers. Hence the "feedback" . But damn good explanation on mic setup.

If you're doing a gig that requires a lower volume at the start and a louder volume as the evening goes on, how do you get round this? 🤔
I'm a mobile DJ, i hate going on the mike because i always get very bad feedback
If I remember correctly, feedback is a form of resonance.
