Wow , vnl should fly you guys each week to one of the two locations…the breakdown and discussions is something we’ve been needing…not to mention the fact they address all the questions and concerns the fans have!

Playing clean volleyball and not making errors in any sport is a skill in itself. Its not like the usa relying on digging everything until their opponent made mistakes...we had one of the biggest blocks on their best player on the opposite side, with plummer and rettke. That sorta thing alone will send someone trying to do too much, which we can all agree at times canada were doing. People like to say plummer is a liability but for most of but for the first two sets I dont even remember errors from her....she had some bad passes but not so bad we couldnt get a play. Its all part of the game. We gave the usa alot of flack when they were the ones making errors the first week and now they deserve the praise. THey've been playing 5 days according to the coach, and this canadian team has been together since week one. Brasil plays similar to the USA with a balanced game and canada also lost to them, so maybe shannon needs to figure out the pattern here instead of simply saying they beat themselves. There are grey areas in this sport beyond the numbers of kills and errors, I would expect her to know that. Canada has alot of potential and as long as they remain healthy, I don't see them losing to anyone they aren't supposed to, and I absolutely expect more upsets to come in. The USA, will keep experimenting but thats not always a good thing; the lineup in this match was great; I think drews is miles ahead thompson at the moment. Something is off with her and I am not sure if its a physical or personal thing.

Hava a bit less fan service guys, and focus more on the play, so that volleyball fans can continue trusting your comments. Other than that good effort 👍 Gunes is not in top 10 for looks nor play in Turkish NT team sadly. Yes, I have seen them close by. Supporting Canada 🇨🇦

Zehra Güneş , yaklaşık 7 aydır omuzundan sakat o nedenle tam performansla oynamıyor, yoksa dünyanın en iyi orta oyuncularından biridir 🙂

It's absurd that you believe there's bias in the praise she receives. If we want to look at things objectively then we can focus on the statistics. After all, numbers don't lie right? Gunes, as a middle blocker holds the record for the most block points in VNL history despite not playing in many matches. She rightfully won the best middle blocker award at VNL 2023. Additionally she was the top-performing middle blocker in the European Championship last year. In the match against Serbia. She attacked with %100 and set a record for a final match. Not to mention, she also broke the block record at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Once again despite playing fewer matches than other middle players that were on the podium. If her team could secure the podium she would have been receiving the award she deserved for her outstanding performance. The same applies to the 2022 VNL where Zehra demonstrated outstanding statistical performance in both blocking and attacking. Unfortunately her exceptional performance didn't get any reward due to the team's failure to secure a medal. These are just a few of her achievements in the national team within a short period. There's not enough time to list them all, not to mention her accomplishments as a starting player in a top-level club like Vakıfbank since the age of 18.
