Congrats on that discovery 12 dude I’ve been looking for that bottle for sometime now. Some really great prices at the store too. I would definitely hit that up if I was in Denver
Argonaut is a great store. Great staff and lots of selection. Dave Co. to the North is supposedly the biggest Liquor store in the world. Bevy's has 2 locations to the south that are both bigger (Parker and Littleton). While Colorado has pretty decent distilleries, it also seems to make the distributors think it's ok to pass over for some allocations or even things like any Benchmark but the regular.
@@Jared40 Totally agree - but the Parker location is a lot closer to me so that's where I go most of the time. Besides size though the Parker location has a lot of the same Bourbon selection. Maybe a few less store picks. It doesn't carry anywhere near the same selection of liqueurs, gins, or most unfortunate for me - rums.
I had no idea that happened. I checked on Facebook and it looks like they ran into money troubles. I think there could be a bigger conversation about some decisions they made.
Hard disagree on Mackenna 10 being 3/10 bottles being good. At $60 I will grab it if I am out. I won't keep a back up and I won't hunt it. But it has been good to me and I find it to be a unique pour relying on some cherry, but mostly oak and rye spice.
Breckenridge and stranahans is just all hype theirs really nothing to their recipes other than a finish however at stranahans probably best mixed drinks in Denver
@ I had a sample from a friend but there’s a reason I’m hunting it. I had their toasted rye and DO rye as well and it’s all amazing. I’d gladly pay 85-100 for the bottle
@@TheWhiskeyCove so thanksgiving update I was gifted a bottle of DO and I had some pours before (including Bombergers 2024) before hand and the peerless was still a stand alone. I would love to see a peerless review from you if possible and I am a michters fan but the DO was spectacular
The Whiskey Wheel of Giving sponsored by Sazerac and Heaven Hill Distilleries will be Saturday December 14th, at 8am!
Great score on the Disco 12! Neat store too. 👍
I’ve heard very good stuff. Solid price too.
Argonaut is by far the best liquor store in Colorado.
Awesome segment! Love how they run their business!
Friday night pour 🤔 I'm retired so every night is Friday for me 😉👍🤣 Great video and Store my friend , Cheers 🥃
Great looking store and selection. Good choices for the challenge. 🥃
Cheers Dave. Thanks for watching.
Good grab. Disco 12 is phenomenal.
In need to get into this beast!
Excellent choices. Love the Jim Beam Black for the budget pour.
Can’t beat that price too.
I always enjoy a behind the scenes look at places like this. Looks like they handle the business well. Good for them, cheers Patrick!
It’s a great place and I’m glad you enjoyed it!
What a great store with a very nice section of whiskey.
I’ve been going there for years, still find stuff I’ve never seen before!
Nice store and good picks. Btw, the disco 11 was also all KY
Yes I noticed when I was editing. I added that at the end when I was talking about it again. Thanks.
Great job! Love argo's
Jealous of that great store! Thanks for the video ~
Cheers Whiskey bank. They do a great job all around.
Love your selections, I have Disco 12, really good!
Very happy to find that one. The last one too.
My Friday pour tonight is a Stellum 114.98 proof bourbon 👍😋 VERY TASTY 😉
Price on that GB Lady Bird was really good!
They always have solid prices.

You should make a trip out there.

Bevys location in Littleton is way better than Parker location

@ericepperson8409 I've gone to both the Parker location isn't bad just really prefer Littleton location bigger selection better store picks
Thanks for High West recommendation my twin brother loves High West great Christmas idea😆🥃👍🏻🗻
It’s a very good bottle. If you tried the old school stuff this is similar.
Some view on that intro. Cool interview with the owner
I thought it was awesome. Such a nice back drop by the stadium.
Love it!
Cheers dude. Hope you enjoyed the live stream.
@ I for sure dude. It was a good time!
5280 love !! Patrick do a video like this with Mollys thats my fav store in Colorado or Bevys in Littleton not the one in Parker 😅🥃
It’s on the list!
The Copper Sky distillery actually closed about a month ago, but is apparently on the verge of being purchased and rebranded in the near future.
I had no idea that happened. I checked on Facebook and it looks like they ran into money troubles. I think there could be a bigger conversation about some decisions they made.
11 was the first all KY Discovery since 4, but who is counting? I really enjoyed the 12.
@@robertlee6781 yeah I added that into the video towards the end as I forgot about 11 lol
I just noticed that. Oops. Totally agree with the list. Did you try the 12 yet?
@@robertlee6781 cracked it last night on the livestream.

I wish I had that much luck with it. I’ve struck out a few that just haven’t been that good.
@TheWhiskeyCove Thanks for the reply. I love your content.
Check out Daveco, it’s the biggest liquor store in the world. Roughly 30mins North
Yeah it’s big for sure. Bevy’s seems a lot bigger to me though. Much better whiskey selection as well.
If you like Daveco I have a bunch of videos of that place on the channel. I also have another one secluded in December which should be a fun one.
Breckenridge and stranahans is just all hype theirs really nothing to their recipes other than a finish however at stranahans probably best mixed drinks in Denver
It is all about what you like, there is a bottle for everyone.
Didn't even consider that Peerless Double oaked?? I am hunting hard for that but VA sucks at getting anything
@@joeyoliver504 haven’t had it. How is it?

That Dickel single barrel next to the high west for $49 is $89 here in michigan 🫣😖🫢
That’s insane. Argonauts always have one of those licks for sale.
