I couldn't help myself: I reran this session at x1.75 and added up all your sidebets. To my amazement, you came out $250 ahead on those (unless you count $1,000+ in tips as a loss!). The dealer bust option seems like a bad pick for the house because you made $1,100 on that and lost $850 on the 2-card 20 sidebet. You are helping with my education, Jason. Oh, and good luck with the exercise effort. I just started a routine to reduce my beer belly and strengthen my back, using resistance belts. It's bleepin' torture, I tell ya.

Desert Diamond in Glendale has BlackJack that you can surrender and if you want to play more then one hand you dont have to pay double the amount. You can play up to 3 hands and split up to 3 times and double on splits. Good Luck ask for Janae she is an awesome host.. Not sure if you can record though.

Grats on the comeback! (Boo to them for not only the H17 garbage but ALSO the short-pay paytable on Lucky Ladies. They can afford to use the paytable where QhQh is 200:1 (not 125:1), the matching pair totaling 20 is 25:1 (not 19:1 - this cost you $150!), and 10:1 on suited 20s (not 9:1.))
Lucky Ladies is probably the worst side bet even with the “good” pay table, with the short pay pay table that Talking Stick uses it’s definitely the worst side bet of all time.
@@Reimu-Shrine-Maiden Agreed. It is offensively bad. Shame there’s no legal requirement that side bets have no higher than a 5% edge, with slight exception made for progressives.
@@MewtwoStruckBack the best advice I’ve ever gotten for gambling is to ignore side bets completely and only focus on the main game.
@@Reimu-Shrine-Maiden I generally agree with that. Lucky Ladies can be counted though, for those who are able to do that, and does become +EV at particularly high counts (or slightly lower counts if you're side-counting Qh.)
