I took this gun to a Milsim event in fairly chilly weather and all mags fed through with no hang ups or significant pressure loss. I was able to survive an ambush and complete a mission with the 7 mags I had on me. Very reliable and incredibly exciting to reload under stressful combat situations. I fitted both my vfc mp5 and mp5k with the UTG rail system which opened them up to so many modern customization options. I highly recommend it.
Great review! I will say though that Bing is the only person so far who has broken their cocking handle support tube, I've personally been very harsh with mine since I bought a spare and there's no sign at all of it having any issue so far, and others have had the same experience. Don't count the A5 out completely just because the tube isn't steel :)
Hi there, thanks 😊, I have not given up on the full-size mp5a5 from vfc but having some information on what's being worked on behind closed doors, let's say the futures bright for the mp5 family.
Hi there, the suedo bolt stop is not the best for realism, but in gameplay, it really helps. The feeling you get on the last round lets you know your empty, and with the mp5 manual of arms being naturally slow, saves a few seconds. After a few games, you forget about the realism bit and just enjoy the awesome replica.
Fantastic review - very in-depth with plenty of detail. I managed to pick up one of these recently (from a UK retailer as wouldn't have a clue how to correctly import one!!) and it's amazing. One question - does yours have the nozzle restrictor in it and was that the case when you did your crono-ing? Mine has the little grub screw in it with the drilled out hole and getting considerably less FPS on 0.2s even using fairly powerful gas (Ultrair Players' choice) - just as an experiment I removed it and did it again and got more but also the action then felt rather sluggish when doing mag dumps (which is extremely fun with this gun).
Hi there, No, I did not get one with a restrictor in the nozzle. From what you described, that's an old-school way of doing it, but there really wasn't a need. Did you get yours from Bispoke Airsoft?
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Thanks for the reply. No it was Defcon Airsoft as they were literally the only retailer in the UK who had some in stock. I might have a bit more of a play without the restrictor (or maybe a modded restrictor with a larger bore drilled out)
Thanks for answering, I asked because I got my mp7 Navy from bispoke, and it came with the same antique style of restrictor. I got my mp5k from wgcshop.com, and as you can see with the original nozzle, it's fine. If I remember rightly, they sell a few nozzles for the mp5k from a range of manufacturers, including an aluminium npass nozzle from Bow master custom. If you're getting issues with the grub screw it may be worth a try replacing it with an original nozzle or the bow master one
@@MiddleAgeGameruk Great thanks for the suggestions - I might also just do some more testing without the restrictor as it was still giving fps within legal limits - it just seemed slightly sluggish when doing the "fun" mag dumps - I guess as more gas is getting through, the cooldown effect occurs quicker!!
Hi there, there is something about the manual of arms with the hk mp5 that once you master, it's an amazing feeling. The apc9 is more tacticool out of the box. I'm currently putting a video together comparing the pdw's mp5k, apc9k, mp7, ddm4 pdw, and rattler LT. I hope I can answer you there.

Good review. Any chance we could get a review on the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa White Knee Gers D.O.R Blowback Pistol?
Great thorough review and entertaining, THANK YOU
THANK YOU
Is it me or at 17:00, the top of the receiver looks a bit dented? is it because of the top rail mount?
Nice! I wish it was easier to get in the USA.
Seriously, VFC GBBs need to be more accessible to the US market. There has to be some reason behind why they always have to be imported.
The nozzle stop on empty on the follower is a deal breaker

Need another update on the 416 Mws as not a lot of people have done vids on them :)
Hi there, I'm just wrapping up the comparison video with the GM, Cyma, and Double Eagle, i.e., 416, ddm4, and Noveske N4. Hope you guys will enjoy it.
@@MiddleAgeGamerukohhhhh nice can’t wait 🍻
so what do you prefer? VFC MP5K or the Maruyama SCW9K?

Do you know if gen 1 stock will fit on the gen 2 mp5k? Thanks!!
Hi there, yes, the Gen1 mp5k stock will fit the Gen2
So, is it good? Still alive?
Hi there, it's still amazing.
