This park reminds me of my younger days. When my grandfather passed away in McGregor. My family decided that I was the perfect person to live with my grandmother while she adjusted to my Papa passing. Well I was the talk of the town. Girls loved me and the boys hated me. I met a girl and Mother Neff State Park was our favorite place to hang out. This was before the new additions and campsites. There wasn't even Park hosts. Just the CCC buildings, primitive camping sites, and the Leon River. They have let the CCC buildings decorate and turned this park turn into a shit hole. Well I got ran out of McGregor city limits because my girlfriend was a Baptist preacher's daughter. My grandmother said she didn't need me anymore. So I left a town I forever changed. 😅
Well just in case I forget, Happy Birth Day! There is more history to come, I visited four SP on my trip and three had displays and info about the CCC.
Bacon and eggs baby! that will be in one of the Goose Island videos. I am editing the Bastrop SP videos (3 videos) right now, then I will be working on Schulenburg ( 1 Video) followed by the Goose Island set. Hopefully live by Monday.
Hey Bob. It may be none of my business, but what is your disability to make walking so hard. I have Osteoarthritis in both hips, so I know what it's like ;)
Once I realized that I was dealing with an infection I attempted to get help from seven different infectious disease DRs as well as UT Southwest and Baylor infectious disease clinics but was unable to secure an appointment with any. The VA DRs told me I was crazy. So I researched and studied like my life depended on cuz it did and I have identified a number of botanicals and supplements that are working to improve my over all condition. So the answer is no meds at this time.
