I’ve been eyeing the Transat pattern for some time. I’m a huge fan of Maison Fauve patterns. Your review has answered my concerns. I’m off to buy the pdf. Thanks Kate.
Of course! I forgot to mention in my video… It’s Simplicity S9469 which I made in Liberty Tana Lawn and is their Zeus print. This is my all time favourite make so far ☺️ Thanks for watching!
Welcome to Ripper Seams! Alas, future me is wearing a shop bought cuddle fleece (from Next) - but I’ve had the same thought as you as I want this pattern too!! I e been studying it to see if I can hack another pattern ☺️
I was looking at the pattern pictures, lovely dress but is it possible to put the strap other way around so little triangles go to back and not front? This part really is putting me off
I don’t recommend tying in the front as the strap as a single layer tied at the front doesn’t look half as good as the strap is not wide enough to cover the waist seam (I’ve tried all the options!) That double layer that is created at the front when tied at the back gives the waist more definition. I wouldn’t worry too much about the triangle flaps as it put me off initially but once I started wearing it, they flattened out and not so obvious. All the other lovely aspects of this dress make up for it in spades so give it a go ☺️
Hi Kate. Merry Christmas! Beautiful dress!❤
Thank you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you ☺️
Absolutely stunning dress!!! It’s been added to the list! And I totally saw Undies 😂😂
I love it so do recommend. It will look lovely on you ☺️
I have the same light in my sewing room and my office. It is really great
The only flaw is I now have no sense of time at night and will happily sew until 3am because everything is so bright (ask me how I know 😜)
Gorgeous is absolutely the right word for this! A real stunner.
Thank you! ☺️
Beautiful dress
Thank you so much
lol… at first I saw “undie” patterns, but then I looked more closely ! That said , now I want to make so mew under things! 😂
My PDFs will forever be known as indie patterns. There is no going back 🤣

Glad to have enabled! Have fun sewing it up!! ☺️
The dress really suits you, it's lovely. Looking forward to seeing what you make with your new fabric
Thank you! 😊
Hi! Your dress is so elegant.
Just as I was hoping for! Thank you ☺️
Lovely dress xx ❤
Thank you! 😊
Turned out lovely! Can you please tell me what you’re wearing? Admiring the keyhole detail in the top you’re wearing, totally cute.
Me too and love the fabric.

Hi, new follower here! What pattern is the hoodie that future you wore? Do you have a video for it? It's exactly what I'm looking for right now :D
