Thanks for the tutorial on the clone tool for Neo. I've always had trouble using this tool correctly, so this will come in handy for me. Great video and thanks for sharing.
Can you set the clone tool to sample different zones while using it without the key board? With the mouse? You are such a great teacher, so clear and through. Thank you.
Great tips, thanks. I always wonder why Slylum manages to leave things out. They could have added a Blend Mode picker to the Clone tool. Why did they leave it off? Why do we need hacks?
Great tips, thank you. I'm glad to see a clone tool in Neo. But, I still prefer the cloning tools in Photoshop. For example, if texture is more important, I would use the Healing Brush Tool; while if color is more important I have the Spot Healing Brush.
Great video! Maybe you can help even though you don't work for Skylum. Is there a Skylum support that is not a "bot" or a list of possible answers? I have tried what the list suggests and am getting more and more frustrated. I purchased Luminar Neo before release and didn't download because of all the issues and missing elements. I continued with Luminar 4. After watching your video I decided to download. Can't get it to show up on my computer.
There is a big bug on the erase and clone tools altering the exposure and obliterating highlights on my Sony raw files when even the smallest spot is removed. Huge bug which they need to sort asap.

Not sure I follow. If it stayed in one place you'd get repeating patterns which is a giveaway that you've cloned. No clone tool works that was on purpose.
@@DigitalPhotoMentor Thank you for replying. It means a lot to me. I really love your content. I understand what you're saying but sometimes it would be really helpful if we could be able to reposition the cloning source lets say like Lightroom does it.

I for one am glad there's now a clone tool, even if stamp isn't available yet.

You're welcome
I always wondered what the use case would be for using the clone tool with lower opacity. Thanks!
Glad you found it helpful

Unfortunately not, you need to press a keyboard button
Excellent.
Many thanks! We've missed you!

So report it to Skylum. People on youtube can't help fix a bug.
I don't see the shortcut pdf link

It would be e great help if the source remains stationary while cloning. Just day dreaming I guess.

@@edmondrusso2831 Yes I totally agree with that!
Sorry, but these 4 actions can be done much faster and better in Photoshop 2022
Sure but the point is that not everyone owns or wants Photoshop.
