If you drop by a gas station anywhere, you will find seats and other shops in the gas station. You can use restroom in every gas station. It serves everybody just like a public restroom. It is one of an amazing thing about Thailand.
I'm Thai and I used to live in this area before. It's a nice area, the rent, the food and the overall cost of living are pretty cheap. There is a big fresh morning market about 1.5 miles from your condo selling cheap food and fruit called "Cholprathan Market". Bty the way The omelette looks yummy. Welcome to Bangkok! 🎉🎉

Yeah I am unfortunately jaded after being here so long. I just see these new influencers as driving prices up and creating more stringent visa policies as more people watch these videos and arrive here en masse. Definitely not as chill as it used to be.
