Really appreciate that you did this all with just triggers and a zeroscope so we could hear it the module speak for itself 🙏

@@airfrankenstein ..I liked it so much that I ordered a 2nd one.. just wish there was a CV in on the Time potentiometer..

thanks for showing off this module! curious, are those tendrils cables you're using there? do you like them?

I'm actually using the Modbap Modular cables. I like using them for videos because it keeps the clutter out of the way, but some modules are tough to more heavily patch with them because of closer jack placements.

this is really an excellent video it was extremely helpful to me Professor.. I was very confused about this module for 6 months after I purchased it (a year ago) . I have watched this video many times.. I totally agree with you I wish the Time potentiometer had a CV in to shorten and length the envelope that would be sick.. Professor do you know of any other modules that can do something similar to this..?

Honestly, I bought this because Maths was out of stock at the time. So, Maths, haha.

@@RobotsAreRed .I understand that Maths is a Swiss Army knife of modules but I still don't fully understand why it's so popular..? ..I don't own a Maths yet but it seems to be just a attenuverter, mixer, slew, envelope follower and possibly an ADSR..? ..perhaps I am missing something and won't fully understand until I get one..?

@@normdurkin6425 Check out my Maths video where I cover some interesting patches with it. It is very versatile and has lots of self patching capabilities. It can also give you delayed triggers, reversed gates, dynamic slew, and so much more. It is never the star of the show, but it will work its way into most every patch.

Also QARV is very similar to Maths and can cover a lot of the same terrain.

@@RobotsAreRed ..yes I was curious about QARV.. Blue Lantern Modules and After Later Audio are my two favorite modular companies for the price and Make Noise might be the most unique..
      thanks again Professor..

Nice demo. Thank you! My only gripe is that I don’t think you ever went into plucky exponential territory on the classic subtractive demo. Attack was always on the longer side. I wanna know if this envelope can snap! The suspense is killing me! Haha

Yes, it can be very snappy, the speed knob allows it to go very quick when all the way CW.

It looks cool but not over the top it's got just enough to keep you busy.

Yep, its a great simple module with some tricks up it's sleeve. I'm also finding it is great as a performative envelope generator by being able to play with that time knob.
