Try the Casio W-735H. It has timer, stopwatch, alarm (audible & vibration), dual time and a big illumination button, waterproof as well. Apparently the battery will last 10 years also. I’ve had mine for many years and has been knocked about and still going strong. It’s not a G-Shock (as in the video) but looks like one. Bought a second one, still in the box as I got a good deal. A highly recommended watch at a very cheap price.
I have this one in grey ( and in glossy red too!). Bought them at a bricks and mortar shop here in Moscow for about $75 each - third party for you, but I love 'em! I like power save mode. You can put it in the dark for a while - as you mentioned - then expose it to light and rejoice in those moving analogue hands; never gets old. Good review. Subscribed. Cheers 🍻!
I got mine for $45 and I originally thought it was a Gshock but was very pleased after seeing how much $$$ I saved. I use it as my work watch... I work in a lab and if chemicals spilled on it I won't be bothered since it's so affordable.
Just got the basic 5600 G Shock on Woot for only $33 ($25 + shipping/tax). I've been wanting one for a while and jumped on the deal. I'm liking it so far, though I'm not used to the fussiness of the digital settings.
I've had a black one for a couple of years now, I think I payed aroung $28 for it, changed the band the a 2 piece nylon with a metal buckle because I can't stand Casio's resin bands. I'm trying to set it up like my square G work watch and W-735H ( also a good G alternative) but I can't find a stick on screen protector or wire guard, this watch has a very big scratch prone crystal.
I've never seen a screen protector that's made for this model. I guess the nice part is that if it eventually gets to scratched up, not like you had a ton of money in it. But still a screen protector of some kind would be nice.
@@spectre-edc I started looking again after posting that and found out a 30 MM protector for a smart watch will fit perfectly, i have one on order now.
I have this same watch and I have it's higher wr brother the ads800wh, The ads800wh is same watch but with 200m water resistance and better (imo) applied indices.
@@spectre-edc I used to swim with this one and G shock. I had to replace the band of this watch after a couple of years but the G is still fine. Sweating and swimming destroy the band.
I'll have to try to find that one. I've been wanting a similar watch that is a little more subtle. So wanted to find a smaller one in something like grey.
Non capirò mai la pilitica commerciale della casio orologi mi vendono degli g-shock over 100euro con solo fumzioni digitali e poi mi vendono degli orologi NON g-shock che oltre alle funzioni digitali ha anche le lancette under 50euro... Bohh

I recently had someone recommend the exact same watch to me. They look like really good value for money.

Wow that's an insane deal for a Gshock! Awesome find.
I bought one at Walmart for 11:00!
It's wild how good of a deal they are right now.
I got one for $25 at Walmart (on sale now)!👌🏼
Wow $25 is a killer deal for this!

Which G-shock model did you use back when you serve?
It's the GA100-1A1. It wasn't an issued watch or anything, just something I got on my own to wear.
Incredibly light as well
The resin band quality of this watch is lower than of the G shocks. You need to replace the band more often.
I haven't had any issues with mine. But I went and held the G-Shock and this one side by side and I see what you mean. It just feels slightly cheaper.

There is another version, that is half as thick.....a bit more expensive.

@@talega1 I'm seeing a few of those for crazy cheap online. Thanks for the recommendation I'll have to check those out.
Could you share the name please?
