There is a disease called Anubias rott. There's very little information on it and no one knows how it starts. I'm thinking to just blame it on that at this point. And thank you! I enjoy looking even without animals.

Your forest tank is looking beautiful. Have you decided on stocking yet? You were mentioning that you wanted a fish that topped out around 6 inches. I was considering for my 75 gal the Denison Barb. Have you researched those? They would be beautiful in a species only tank.
I'm starting to lean towards the exact opposite of what I said. Importing Tiger Galaxy Caridina from Australia and cross breeding them with Blue bolts.

I thought about that too. I thought about several things. Anubias rot as well. There wasn't ice on them. They weren't like cold. I can't eliminate that as an issue. It was 3 different orders.
Did you notice any discoloration on them when they started melting? Particularly white? Coffeefolia seem prone to white fungus that might not spread to the whole tank, but infect 1 or 2. I feel that you pay such close attention to your tanks that you would've noticed though. They are so cool, I'm sorry to see them rot on you.
Also, glad to see you're back with another video, after burning through all your videos in 2 days I needed a fix lol. BTW, did I miss the update on the plant giveaway?
@@unclejerry88 I haven't. After I made that video. I should've mentioned this. I'm all the way up North. We hit a massive deep freeze. It's been below 0° for 2 weeks. Even with heat packs plants won't survive the travel. I'm waiting on that to blow over. Discoloration on the Anubias Coffeefolia wasn't there. They were firm to the touch. @@yourtap I know all about the deep freeze, I'm originally from the Adirondack mountains, snow capital of the country up there. I lived in MN 2 summers in a row, I heard about the harsh cold, luckily I was only there in the summer when the bugs suck the life out of you. Thanks for the update!

I was at Petco and they had Coffefolia in the gel tubes 😎.
