I love what you said about enjoying the day instead of focusing on what you bought! I know the point of thrifting is to thrift, but i love watching the journey and seeing the market environment. I live in a place where outdoor flea markets are not even a thing!
I’ll hand it to you, you’re a one woman show and you’re able to pump out both vlogs and main channel videos regularly. Huge kudos to you. I know some content creators have an entire team to support them and yet only produce one main channel video every 3-6 months, like okay, cool, I wish I could work once every 3-6 months too.

@Carrie Dayton I work at a plus sized clothing store, and we've been playing with styling corsets for a little while now (since we got some cute ones in). I've been loving it!
Love seeing all you girls. Haul sizes shouldn't matter as long as you're happy with your purchases.
Per my google search, this is the difference between a bomber and varsity jacket: "To allow for better movement in the constricted space of a cockpit, bomber jackets were designed to be thin. This is why they're made of synthetic materials with a nylon shell and polyester interlinings. In stark contrast, varsity jackets are mostly only made of natural fabrics like cotton, wool, or suede."
C cup in a 42 is like a 40D, is like a 38DD or E, etc. Cup sizes adjust with ban size.

Bra sizes are SO confusing, I learned about "sister sizes" and it made sense but it taught me that bra sizes really don't mean what we think they do! A 42C has the same "volume" of the cups as a 40D or 38DD, so that's probably why it didn't fit like you wanted. Hopefully a tailor would be able to work their magic because it looked so good with those jeans!

Girl have Alexa do her magic on the corset. Cut a center dart into the cup and sew it to size. I know she could do it. Cuz that corset is just too cute and it’s so nice to see you out of your comfort zone! You look so good❤!

I think being very intentional in shopping isn't easy or popular, but I think it is better. I have gotten so frustrated with myself for just buying so many things that I give away and/or never wear. I really try and think "is this filling a hole in my wardrobe" or "is this replacing something in my wardrobe" before I consider buying the item. It saved me a lot of money recently.

The wall sconces look like they might be Syroco, in which case you actually got a great price for them :) They are probably plastic but, yknow, cute collectible vintage plastic from the 60s/70s, which is awesome

It wasn’t a big haul, but it was a quality haul for sure! I would definitely look into altering the corset.
I think the corset with a leather jacket with jeans or jeans and a blazer also with some low chunky heels
Don’t give up on the corset yet! If you buy some Hook and Eye Tape, I think you can sew it in and make it smaller for you 😊

The difference between varsity jackets and bomber jackets is that technically, a varsity jacket's sleeves are a different color than the body of the jacket (school colors). A TRUE varsity jacket will also have the Varsity letters on it (and should have the 2-digit year of graduation).

For the corset you need to do something called the swoop and scoop. It repositions your breast tissue so it actually sits properly in the bra cups. You will be surprised how much you can fill out the cups when your tissue is properly positioned instead of more compressed outward and spread out. Trust me it’s like magic! You should also totally get fitted like Sierra did recently if you’re comfortable with that. I promise it will change your life!

You can also add bust pads in and it would probably work out great!
ooh--you could try cutting the cups out of the corset and style it as a harness-esque piece on top of shirts or dresses! worth a shot!
Some advice - I had sconces and tried to have real candles and it melted and we had a big fire! I suggest electric candles!!
Love the corset!! You could dark the center or side of the cup to make the cup size smaller. It’s a minor sewing job and a fun way to alter your clothes
If you really like the corset, a seamstress or tailor can reduce the cup size for you.
I had a very similar corset top for my wedding! If it’s hook closures in the back, don’t be afraid to change the orientation of the hooks, like they don’t all have to be in the same row!
You can also adjust and scoop your chest and stomach area to have it fit better.

The sconces are probably home interiors which means they’re probably like $30-$50 if you decided to resell them online, so you got a pretty good deal
I’m sorry the corset didn’t fit but it looks like it’s my perfect size. I’ve wanted one like that for so long I hope I can snag it if you put it up on Poshmark lol. We are similar sizes so I’m so happy I found your videos it really helps me feel more confident.
