Overall, This song is mostly a complete upgrade to the original. However, the drowning segment feels like it's lost some effect with it being a bit more intense and less lo-fi. Just my opinion though. Still some absolutely exquisite work here, Case. Edit because I want to be honest: Something else about that drowning segment, while the new vocals are (ironically) a breath of fresh air, i feel like the old vocals pulled off that part a bit better, particularly at 1:13's held notes. However, this update more than makes up for it with that kickass bassline after that segment.
1:05 is so much better in he V2, it actually feels like something's changed and Ben sounds like a kid which is much more fitting than him sounding demonic despite just being a kid lol

this new version is fantastic, love most of it over the original. my only gripe is the drowning segment. I think the new voice is fantastic, but I think what would have made it better was giving bf and ben more pitchbends during that part specifically. ben’s vocals in the drowning segment in the og had a lot of emotion behind them, but in this new version they sound a bit more lifeless and robotic. i think adding pitch bends during that part specifically would make it sound more natural and increase the emotion of that part like the og. overall tho this is a huge improvement, wonderful work!

Honestly i believe this is a upgrade. On Ben's parts it feels more like a FNF song, both singers are "rhyming", instead of Ben making random sounds while BF carried the song on the old version. And in the Ben Drowning part, i kinda agree with you, but i can't really decide if the old part is better or the new part is better.
This is a great remix but I have one complaint and that's Ben's vocals in the drowning section. My thoughts First (Monster/Demon Ben): 9/10 Not a fan of it at first (i missed the old voice), but I listened to it again with this in mind, and it somehow improved. Drowning: 10000000/10 LOVE IT. THE ACTUAL BEN VOICE MAKES IT SO MUCH BETTER. Second (Monster/Demon Ben): 7/10 I feel like Ben should've gotten more vocals in. Overall, epic remaster! My only issue is that all of the parts feel way too short.
I love this! The very updated voice for Ben gives the opportunity to emphasize the drowning effect in the underwater part. Ben doesn’t sound like he’s really deep underwater in the drowning part anymore. I love the pacing and everything, though! And longer parts for both characters. I changed my mind, Ben’s drowning voice works really well.

The old drowning section is better, this one is good, don't get me wrong, but the other one just had a different more "accurate" voice than this one, since you can hear ben's voice clearly in this one it doesn't sound like he's actually underwater, but the other one did have a more "muffled" voice that made it sound like was actually underwater wich made it better and actually souded like he was drowning. This honestly feels more like a remix than an update, while the original song had a more menacing tone, this one is more "musical" and doesn't sound as scary as the other one. Btw this is just my opinion, im not trying to offend anyone.
