I made the whole thing, and it's awesome!! Thank you. The holding device, however, has small, thin brackets to hold it in the slots. The small brackets broke off. Have you come up with any modifications for this?
I have not, i have been using it more handheld though, and the few times i've put it into the slit lamp the adapter has held up fairly well. are you trying to keep it mounted long term? I can probably come up with something a bit more secure, but may not be as easy to snap in and out.
Do you have any insights on a program on the computer that you can search a patient’s name and have all their photos attached? It’s just a long process to upload the picture to the EHR.
You could set it up with dropbox or google photos to upload automatically as the photos are taken. they would be datestamped and effectively anonymous otherwise until attached to whatever EMR you use currently
any benefit in using a 3.6mm lens vs another size? I ordered a 3.6mm on eBay and they ended up sending me a 12mm size x _ x. Also if you have any recommendations where I can get what you used or currently use in stock that would be so helpful!
The benefit of using a shorter focal length is increasing depth of field and capturing the entire lid easily in one shot. If you get a. Longer focal length it'll be zoomed in and a little more difficult to keep in focus
Thanks Yogi, very helpful.
Tres cool!

Are there any apps that you can use for an iPhone for this device?
unfortunately no, just have it working with old android phones as USB devices can be plugged in without any issues.
may i ask you why did you choose 720 or 740 IR pass filter? why not 850 nm?
there was no significant difference between all of the above when I had tried. I ended up ordering a bunch of the same filters in bulk and used it
