That is Gerald Wolfe. I was fortunate enough (blessed would be a better word) to see these guys a number of times during the last several years of their career. Heaven sure got a great bass and lead singer when the Lord called George and Glenn home!!!

I was there that night, I was 2 years old and with my family. I've always heard stories of The Cathedrals at Gilead and have always wondered what those concerts were like. Thank you so much for posting these videos. I featured this video on my blog today, Fusons Findings
I was there every year to see them because I attended Gilead Baptist for most of my life. The Lord created no gospel group better than The Cathedrals since the beginning of time. I cannot wait to get to heaven to sing with these guys around the Throne of God!
Was this at Gilead Baptist, on Dec. 31/86? If so, that was the first time I saw the Cathedrals. We drove 5 or so hours to get there.....I can't believe some of it was recorded.......thanks so much for posting this.
Wow!!! I never saw the Cats stage this song in person. Of course I had the Live in Atlanta album that they recorded at the Joyful Noise Supper Club that featured Kirk singing it, but I didn't get to see them in concert until shortly after Danny joined them and they never sang it at any of the many concerts that I attended. Great stuff!!

Gerald Wolfe is very talented. He can play the piano beautifully, can sing & a great organizer.
