I love it that k you for your videos they are so helpful. God Bless You and your children. I have an 11 year old boy who will get a bit cranky at times also but try to keep him a bit interested and always praise him and get him to smile. :)

I Thank you for your BRILLIANT ideas, and gracefulness as you share. You give us goals and things to strive for, in our homeschooling adventure. I am so not as organized or put together as you but LOVE having challenge to strive for improvement. I look at your videos and say "I CAN do that" or something similar that would fit our family. We have LOTS of extra challenges, the biggest, is with my mom living with us and her disabilities. It has benefited my kids, learning GRACE and Patience. They have been absolutely fantastic... and God has been AMAZING... Working out so many things .... not in our timing but his... I would not trade our Homeschooling ... would ENJOY doing it over again... with some changes... HIND SIGHT ha ha! My kids are doing fantastic academically... so haven't ruined them... Thanks for being such a blessing!!!!
Just found your videos today and I'm so happy I did! The idea of home school has always appealed to me and I even begged my mom all through middle school to home school me but we could never do it. Great class room by the way! Once my kids are school age I also want to home school and have a really hands on, project friendly class room like this :)
Our homeschool room is in the basement too. I used some of the ideas from your room in ours. A few things I changed were making sure everything sits on either metal casters or legs in case of flooding. The casters allow me to change up the room set up if I need to. I also had to seperate the desks to different areas of the room because, boys. I will probably change out the desk tops next year because they do get dinged up too easily.
The wooden box is the Spiegaben set and the Rainforest project is from my Expedition Earth World Geography curriculum :) It was one of our faves! store.confessionsofahomeschooler.com/

The white wall cabinets were installed by our builder when we finished the basement. So I think they came from a local cabinet place. The shelves on the floor were all from Ikea and there are links to everything in my blog post linked in the description box.

But it's pity that there's no such a product on amazon.de... im from Germany and i can't find such a wonderful product which i could use as my pencils holder:/... and I also found that there's another layer under the product spinner that you share with us, what's that part under? It has two parts or only one part? Has it any drawers?
It's the recollections spinner from Michael's, here is the exact one: bit.ly/2uDCUYl the little drawers underneath are tiny and we don't put much in them. They are good for paper clips, and small things like that :)

We just use the bookshark books for reading, not the entire curriculum. But so far they've been enjoyable book selections.
