It's more a comparison of combat players vs. economic players rather than a good person and a bad person. That merchant may have done shady things to get to where he is. Some players play for combat, while others play for economic value. The adventurer player also enriched her community by offering leadership. I'm not a PvP ganker but I respect the effort it takes to do it.

@@merthopythyus Ya because the game make it physically impossible to kill people solo when flagged with stupid systems that protect people who aren't. That and the fact that the black zone is a joke when it so easy to store all your gear in a safe town than freely teleport to nearly every black zone. Honestly it the game's poor design that both forces the players to group up in massive numbers to PVP and makes it so easy for them to form up in one place and be any were at anytime with their over whelming numbers. Maybe if debuffs weren't applied to flagged players and the black zone was more like how it is in eve online we would see more small scale 1v1 pvp encounters and less massive PVP zergs KOS everyone they see.

Very good trailer that basically tells it how it is. Start the game as a nobody, become a somebody... I love Albion Online. This is the best sandbox experience I've had since Star Wars: Galaxies.
IppatsuMan71 blue zones (no pvp) and yellow zones (you have to tag up for pvp and only lose half of your stuff on death) are pretty safe and you can gather without being in danger really. Never had anyone bother me there. Red and black zones where pvp is enabled at all times and full loot is on is where the pvp and ganking is at. Has nothing to do with the community, but with one of the most important features of this game: killing for profit :) its how the game is set up and killing/being killed is part of it. Other than that you have your occassional toxic chat and annoying people in LFG. Other than that, very helpful people. When I started playing and streaming the game last week, alot of people came in my chat helping out answering questions and wishing me fun in this game :) alot of veterans are really nice

i felt the pain whn she robbed him. and he said "never again". i was robbed a few hrs after i started playing. worked so hard to get ALL tier2 set, a mount, tools, resources and some other stuff. and somestole it all. had to do it all over again and it was HARD. so i always keep a set ready in nearest banks ( in every town i visit). anyway, this trailer was awesome. and if the game turn out to be half as good thn i will be playing it for centuries.

This game is awesome I really do like it and I would still play it if it wasn't for the forced PVP now don't get me wrong I like the PVP but not well I'm farming there's a time and a place for everything PVP in a farming area is not smart or in dungeons
Make asian server.The ping difference between american and asian is very high and it effects the pvp very badly. All asian spam this comment everywhere so that we get the developer attention.
My Review: 6 days ago I started my Journey... As a player who is a big fan of hardcore games like Runescape and Ultima I thought this would be a great game to test. I got my hopes up and it was surely rewarded! The world is so alive with so many players everywhere... I've made about 1.5mil in game in the 1 week I played and I am a F2P player (my ign: CriticalRatios). Hopefully I'll get to that premium status soon :) I really enjoyed exploring, made some new friends... some of the players out there and guilds are extremely kind... I've even died and lost over 200k when i tried to transport my entire bank through the red zone.. it was depressing but boy that THRILL, that feeling of RISK was amazing. I am learning and so far this game has delivered for me! I have about 5 new friends in game and we do fun stuff all the time.. Go out there and create your journey! As for me... I want to one day craft the best leather armour :D Have a nice day!
@@paybacksuper3670 Sure its a combination of 4 things that I do 1) I go out to black zones and gather hide that is uncommon, rare or epic (.1, .2 or .3) (i gather tier 4/5 atm) in fact refined .3 (epic/purple) hides of tier 5 goes for 33k ea (This should work for any resource I just focus on hide cause thats my profession) 2) Run Dungeons... whenever you can run a dungeon with a group do it because theres always a chance for a rare chest and that can mean anywhere between easy 50k - 1mil even if lucky 3)If you're gathering in royal cities make your way to carleon to sell for eg: uncommon hides in the royal city of bridgewatch get sold for 340ea the same thing in carleon goes for 800ea travel to areas which have a low concentration of the resource youre selling and sell above the market value you will make a lot of money 4) Observe the black market sometimes you can flip items there and can make absolute bank (I havent used this as much since i dont know a lot about the game and how much items go for) So yeah these are the way i made money.. dont always stick to 1 method switch it up and take risks its important to take some risks. Hopefully ill be premium in a few days
@Thomas Nelson Me and my friends tried it out for a month. We were enjoying it at first but the economy was just so hard to get into if you're not Premium. Leveling up your Destiny Board is also very tedious and unrewarding when you're not Premium. We also have a guild but it's only the Six of us. Even if you can buy Premium with silver, the cost when we played was about 8million silver and we couldn't make that much money for a free to play account.
you can have fun doing pvp until tier5-6 but when you go up to t7-t8 gears you will cry for repairs lmao and also be careful this game only has one server located in US so if you are outside US esp asia countries expect 200-300 or more ping
