That is a beautiful car inside and out - appears to be an absolute treasure! I can only imagine how the previous owner would be having second thoughts about getting rid of it. We currently have a C7 and recently picked up a C5 like the one in your video, 30k miles and in really good condition, Mag Red in color and auto. These cars are so much fun to drive it makes you long for beautiful days and endless summers.

Beautiful car! Should sell quickly. I prefer automatic. I've had manual in the past but it gets old in traffic. I find the driving experience better with auto.

I really enjoy your videos. I was involved with the Corvette club for a number of years. I sold my 2 vetts years ago I want a solid axle car. 58-62 Looking to buy a good driver to go to car club events and cruise nights. I am Canadian and finding one up here has been a challenge. Regarding your Auto vs 6 speed question, for a daily driver and stop and go traffic, hills in town…an auto is the way to go and more enjoyable. My wife and I picked up a ‘99 C5 convertible for weekend driving and the no brainer was the auto. I am a 6 speed driver all the way to the heart but I have driven my fair share of moments of “clutch in ..clutch out” and repeat 50x in 4 minutes and that was not what I was wanting to experience as a weekend, top down, getaway drive. Yet, I am most disheartened that manual transmissions are going away as I would much rather have a c7 manual than an C8 auto. Driven a C8 and the engine would be a blast with a stick. Yeah I know you can go into “manual” mode but it isn’t the same. I am now more interested in buying a second corvette as a 6 speed simply to own one that is a manual, since that option is no longer in most cars. Thanks for the great videos. Luke - South Dakota.

Another nice video, Jim, and this one tugs at my heartstrings…I had a 6-speed C5 that I sold a few years ago. As I told my wife back then when I sold it, it’s only “so long for now” and someday I’ll have another fun car in the garage. When that day comes, it’ll likely be an automatic…just easier to drive in traffic AND easier to get the green light from my wife.😁

Another great video. In the next 6 months to a year I am looking for a Nassau blue convertible preferably a 2000 with chrome thin 5 spoke with heads-up display and black sport seats with black top. I know the numbers for 2000 are slim. Just curious. Have you seen any lately and when it’s time to talk serious, how hard would it be to find. This has been a dream of mine since 2000.
