I followed his advices and got 94% in my class tenth board 2yrs back....to all my juniors: dont doubt him and just follow his strategies,if you can complete atleast a large chunk of cls 10th syllabus in this vacation then you will have a chill journey ahead where you wont need more than 5-6hrs study each day...trust me on that!!(P.S. I had 2 semester exams and started proper preparation 1month before exam,but had to study 10hrs a day lol :) )

As a senior i would like to say just one thing, no chapter regardless of the subject is complete without adequate question practice, specifically previous year questions, and make sure to time practice sessions, it will help.
Also, whenever completing the syllabus, your goal should never be to be done with it as soon as possible, you have time, so you have to try your best to ensure you will be able to do any question from said chapter.

One Shots are to be kept for revision and to clear last minute doubts. Often when we learn the whole chapter at once, we tend to forget some parts. So, if it is a lengthy chapter, i would stick with normal lectures, that is, after you have read the chapter at least once (do not binge lectures, please).
About the note taking part, what we normally do is note everything that the teacher writes, definitions, formulas, examples, questions. It might help, but it will take much longer than the lecture itself to prepare those "perfect" notes. So note only the things you think you will forget, for example, formulas of math and physics, reactions in chemistry, dates in history(with a short description of the event).
