Always said that jumping puzzles are not the toughest puzzles in the game. Fasion is. Getting it all together perfeclty gets me the biggest joy. I came to guildwars for the game but i stayed for the fasion.❤

been working on a Norn guardian that's a hybrid between the nightmarish magic user look of Spawn and the modern knight look of Goblin Slayer (currently trying to get the Dragon Render Helm for that part) the hardest part for me is the gloves and boots as of right now. the helmet: currently Armageddon heavy helm from the ruins of orr karma vendors (will change) the Shoulders: fused shoulders with dark violet abyss dye for the glowing for a true dark magic look the chest and legs: both are the heavy armor set from the city of Arah dungeon Gauntlets: citadel of flame, flame legion (love the size and scale layers but hate how the flames clash with my colors the boots: Decade of Dragons (might change later, it'll depend on the gloves) most of the colors I use are brick and scarlet for the highlights, abyss for my main color, and darkness for my secondary, Violet abyss is for small "magic" details such as gems or flames once I get the Dragon Render helm it'll truly start to look like the " paladin of Dragon nightmares" look I'm going for do you have any suggestions or advice? That sounds really cool! I agree on the gloves clashing with the colors. From some of the pics I saw on google of Spawn and Goblin Slayer, you might could try the Gladiator Gauntlets or Barbaric Gloves. The dyes sound good, but I haven’t seen it, so hard for me to know the way you have them 😆 My only other suggestion is to try and get that extra flare without going overboard. Sometimes looks are really good, but then there’s the ones that have that extra oomph and makes it stand out 😉

I just can't help but pity those people who will just slap each and every infusion they have for glow and show, ending looking like something that would come out of a cat after eating a glitter bomb, just to basically show "I'm rich". It doesn't even look good, it is just "please look at me, please". You might be rich, but you can't buy good fashion taste with it.

Personally, I tend to only do 3 pieces from a single armor set by default if I'm going to choose set items unless I have no other options that really fits the character's look. I write stories for all my toons and I tend to get a fairly specific look in my head of what they might wear. xD And most of them are very normal people so they wouldn't have extravagant, over-the-top or overly designed looks. I might have fun on their weapons to help show a little bit of who they are in it, even if they canonically have much simpler weapons, but their armor can be... difficult, at times. Especially in the heavy class. I usually forgo a helmet and shoulders altogether as they tend to be so darn bulky. o_e I swear, my biggest problem is having that specific look in mind for them but none of the armor options work, or they clip, or *something* that ruins the whole thing. OTL
im new and bought the expansions, will I be able to obtain free glowing gear and weapon styles? I love glowy styles but dont really wanna pay through shop

There are many different pieces of armors that glow that you can earn just by playing the game 😊 Radiant is a good one but it might take a while to get because you have to have a good amount of achievement points. The dungeon sets have a couple of fiery glow sets like Flame Legion and Forgemans. Others include Luminescent from Living World Season 2 story, Requiem and Blossoming Mist Shard from Living World Season 4, and Jade Tech from End of Dragons. GW2 needs Designer Fashions! Everyone craves an eye-popping look, but most of use are fashion challenged. Where can we go for a bespoke suit of armor? We need popular brands whose videos tell us how to put together outfits, including character generation, and couturiers who will make us look like Indiana Jones or Wonder Woman upon request. Or even Beyoncé! Why should the gem store be the only place selling outfits?

You’re welcome! Legendary trinkets are usually allowed! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a fashion contest that didn’t allow them, however infusions can be kind of like the cosplay rule, make sure to ask in advance. As far as fashion contests for EU, I actually just started holding them for EU as well! The next one is a Charr Fashion Contest on September 3rd @ 6pm CET / 7pm CEST in Black Citadel! No outfits and no cosplay allowed 😸

The same window as equipment dyeing, but where you see your character preview there is a pictogram of a horseshoe in the upper left corner. I think you'll figure out the rest from this point.

for tip2, i'd like to argue that combining Head, shoulders, Gloves, 3pieces is less impactfull then chest, legs dispite being only 2pieces.
