Another great video John! Thank you for the kind shout out and promoting my Facebook group. The timing couldn't be better as I currently am giving away two games, NES Darkwing Duck and Sega Air Buster to 2 lucky members. Also, I may have an Aero Fighters coming in soon; I will keep you posted.

I have the #2 cart for taking 2nd in their 1990 NWC tourney. Glad you were able to receive one of them. When you plug it into the NES, the title screen will say "PRGE 2016 World Championships." They did the same thing last year with the PRGE 2015 cart.

Ive been collecting retro video games with my own money for the past 12 to 13 years. When i think i have everything i want or need i find a game ive never played and want to give it a chance or its a game(s) i can't live without. This is probably how a lot of collectors feel, if you stop collecting you give up part the joy that comes with the hobby and half that is collecting. I do enjoy modern games but am more of a retro video game player. This us advice to all gamers of all ages collect, buy and play what you enjoy and don't listen to outside negative comments.

10:16 Interesting that the game was marketed for both the Atari 2600 and 7800. That means that game was published in 1986. I bought an Atari Jr. for $50 in the mid eighties and picked up many Atari games for dirt cheap.

I think a lot of people don't realise is it takes time to build up a collection of this size, and before people realised even people where collecting its a lot more media conscious now with TH-cam so on which reflects on prices nowadays on eBay and stores I think gaming in general is just more mainstream now which reflects in amount of people interested in retro gaming.

Don't know much about Sega games, but this is very shocked to see this, as it appears to be non-existent on Ebay. your Collection is amazing and i have an awesome idea for a series you should do. its sort of a lets play but not really. you should play the first 2 min of all the games you own. lets say you start with nes and pick a game, next video smd, and then you rotate between the consoles and everytime the first 2 min of a game. i would watch it ✊ and then you get to show your Collection in a new way. Short info about the game, 2 min gameplay and the End.

you are talking about a collection that started 30+ years ago with the included period in the late nineties early 2000 were games were practically given away for free.
This is not a man that started collecting 5 years ago.
This gives him the power to trade in order to get holy grails and other hard to find hardware.
When you are this early in the game and games are not only your hobby but your passion it's only logical to amount to the numbers he has.
I don't know his financial status in cash money and i don't care.
But it's very possible to make collections like his , if you do it the way he has done it.

I know there's no rules when it comes to this stuff, but it drives me nuts when I hear people say it like that. Especially, when it's someone that obviously from the old school. I'm just wondering when it became "a thing" During the era these things weren't nostalgia, it was always N E S and S N E S, or more over Nintendo/ Super Nintendo and to a lesser extent Super N E S- it is a little hard on the ears and certainly shortens dialogue by a few milliseconds- I guess at 29, I'm just getting old
