- The beauty and the fun of wigs is that you have the ability to completely transform them in a way that works for you! Just because they came to you and look a certain way right out of the box, does not mean it has to stay that way! You have the power to play around with your wigs all you want to! And what better way to transform your style than to add bangs! If you are hoping to try this on one of your pieces, then hopefully this video gives you enough of an explanation to give you the confidence to try!
Although you wouldn’t really know it at this point, I’m wearing the wig:

GREAT Job! And i’m a hairdresser! I think you did AMAZING!
Thanks so much!
Great demonstration! I love bangs on my wigs and this was an easy to follow way to add them in. BTW, love this color on you!
☺️ thank you so much!
I just love you Amanda! I started to cut bangs into a wig and did cut a few really long ones but this video helps me see how to proceed and to blend the edges. I never thought about blending them. Thank you. You are a pleasure to watch and to learn from!
Aww! So glad this helps, Sallie!
Great job and great explanations about why to cut bangs, especially with that lifting lace, etc.❤❤
Thank you! :) Lots of different reasons as to why we might want bangs!
Super great tutorial. Great idea for lifting lace. Thank you.
Thank you! Glad you think so!
You’re very welcome! 🥰
Thank you! That was super helpful! Do you have a video on how to pluck the hairline to make it look more natural?
Amanda, you are a joy to watch.
That is so sweet of you to say. ☺️ Thank you for being here!
Wow! Amanda - you did an amazing job! 😃 I have all the tools to do this, just scared. I love center part wigs, but honestly I think they just look horrible on me. I have always had bangs - and maybe I am just not used to seeing me with a center part. All I can say is that you have totally revived your Upstage wig and she looks amazing! Thank you - enjoy your day! 🌸💮🌸
Thanks, Tracey! haha yes- cutting wigs in general is terrifying lol. Sending you the strength to try! haha
Great video and the video editing with key instructions is great! ❤
Woo hoo! Glad you liked it!
Hi Amanda this is just what l needed. I bought a RW boudoir glam during the first Sell it on Sunday. It is a lovely model but l’always
wear a fringe (bangs). Thank you for a super video. Sending love your way from the Alpes.
Oh wow! The Alpes! Amazing! Well I wish you luck if you choose to cut bangs in your Boudoir Glam! I hope this was helpful for you!
Looks great!!!
Thanks! 😊
thank you!!
You’re so welcome!❤
Hi, thanks for all the great and informative videos! Would you be so kind as to put your measurements in the description area? I’d love to be able to (sort of) compare what I’m seeing.
❤️🍀
Yes, of course! I am 20.5" in circumference, 11.5" ear to ear, 11.5" front to nape. :)
😍
I prefer a blunt bang. Could you please do a version for that?
I don’t have any that I have cut in a blunt cut but I do have reviews of wigs with blunt cut bangs on this channel.
@@chiquelwigs thank you 😊
Great tip--I've cut some bangs into my first wig because of the fraying lace. You also mentioned that you are so over the glue stage...but how do you feel secure without adhesives??🙈 I find my wigs fit better and feel more natural when I use adhesives. Any tips?
If you get the right size wig, you really don’t need glue. 😊
great job! Which brand of hot comb do you have please?
It’s just from Amazon and the brand is called Andis🥰
Hi! I’ve got my shears ready to go. I’m trying to figure out the safest option to place my wig on, so as to not burn myself or my stands.
As of now I have foam heads, a glass head and some plastic, collapsible travel heads.
Are any of these safe or should I be shopping for more of a fabric head like you’re using here?
Thanks!
It's more about finding something that is stable enough that won't fall over. If you are referring to the plastic wig stands, those won't work well and will topple over easily. The foam head would be fine if they are attached to something to stay put. :) You just need something sturdy.
@@chiquelwigsThank you for always being so supportive and reliable ❤
@@MizD1773 aw you're so welcome!
✌️❤️✌️
If you twisted it first it would have created a gradual blend on the sides not such a blunt cut...just a tip⚘
Yes, thank you! :) I am aware of that method. This is just the way I prefer to do it. :)
Would you mind sharing what hot comb are you using?
You bet! Mine is just from Amazon and it is called the Andis 38330 Professional. :)
@@chiquelwigs thank you 🙏🏻
Would you tell us the brand name of your hot comb? I can only find them with thicker teeth and yours looked much thinner and easier to get hair into. Thanks
Yes! Mine is just from Amazon! And the brand is And is 38330 Professional. :)
