Hello Rachel I also put my tent up alone. I’ve found that if you kick the legs out it makes the top latch easier to go up. But I never thought of turning it upside down so I will try that from now on.

Hi Rachel I have been putting up my tent by myself for the last 2 + years. I do this alone most time and it takes me about 15 minutes it got easier over time. It's a Walmart special for 39 dollars

Yes absolutely that is the only thing that I have found that really helps. Nothing else we used has worked
