Hope these developments trickle down to district level as well. Because we have seen development in big cities for so long but no change happens at the town level.

These stations are major tourist attractions so developed first.
I don't think so.. my town had no station platform untill NDA government came.. our town is one of the highest electricity generation in india that time.. it is an important town in terms of electricity requirements still this was the condition. we had to jump from train in our station.. several state governments came. Several petition were filed.. but it was 2015 when it got approved and with one and half years we got the platform
Just like in case of China, the development will be unequal. Big cities will see more. Small cities will be later. You need to be patient.
It will take time so as to have some major traffic, but that will happen. This Govt is hell bent to bring development at all levels.
I am giving an example of my State which is Bihar ... In 2017 we had calculated electrification ...of our railway station... Should Be started in late 2022 to 23 and it will be completed in 2024 to 25 but in reality it was started in a few months and it was fully furnished in mid 2019 and I had remembered the speed in the last 3 months before is 24*7 ... Thank you and believe me it's very neat and clean railway station

One of the best performing cabinet minister and architect of modernisation of indian Railways. Salute to his wisdom and technical knowledge. We have huge hopes from him to take up some of the challenging projects which could not be taken up in the past due to lack of mentoring in the past but can be relloked currently in view of mentoring from Shri AV. There is huge gap in core competencies of zonal railways especially in terms of carrying out challenging engineering projects inclusive of ghat section. The core cometencies of all the zonal railways should be braught at par with core competencies shown by konkan railway. In fact Indian railway should centralise engineering department at ministerial level instead of decentralisation at zonal or devisional level and the challenging engineering project should be given special status and there ror should be calculated accordingly. Especially the east west connectivity project of Western and southern india should be given special status as it will involve challenges of crossing western ghat which will affect their ror calculation
what we also need is redevelopment of train stations across India and include retail hubs. This will not only improve the business environment, but will generate umpteen number of jobs. We congratulate Ashwini ji on all his achievements, and we have started the long journey to make India a better place for everyone. Let us not rest on our laurels, but we need to continue the hardwork.
