Back in the day I only watched Days of our Lives because of Roark Critichlow. Great actor (and Canadian, lol). I always liked the relationship between Mike and Lexie - it always seem genuine. Too bad his appearance was brief but hoping one day he'll return permanently.

No, Mike did not die. He was in an accident while trying to hurry back home. He's ok, but he was too late to say goodbye to his grandmother. P.S. (to the other comment), Mike (and other Salem residents) returned briefly for Alice Horton's memorial. Frances Reid passed away months prior to this. If you were expecting more... well, you shouldn't have.
