Lord of the starfields
Ancient of Days
Universe Maker
Here's a song in your praise
Wings of the storm cloud
Beginning and end
You make my heart leap
Like a banner in the wind
O love that fires the sun
Keep me burning.
Lord of the starfields
Sower of life,
Heaven and earth are
Full of your light
Voice of the nova
Smile of the dew
All of our yearning
Only comes home to you
O love that fires the sun
Keep me burning
I love this song so much thank you BC ❤
Churches may still be filled if they had hymns like this...
Amen
We are the church ..all the concerts he did were church ...
Love x ❤
Churches are not for concerts!!!! But for your songs to God!,,,,
What a wonderful song, can't stop listening
Beautiful words, beautifully sung and played❣️❤️ 👆🏻
Saw him and his band Autumn of 1984 at the Chestnut in Philly... Awesome concert...
we featured this song at our wedding. perfect worship song
Música linda citada no livro "A Cabana" 🥺
I find this to be a Christian song. The Bible says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Jesus gave Bruce that talent: to sing and play.
I find it to be a non religious song.
@waynejpark560 - Then you lost it
"Jesus gave Bruce that talent: to sing and play." Yes!
But he's not proselytizing.
Loved this song for decades. Was greatly disappointed when Bruce Cockburn didn't play it when I saw him in concert some years later.
Back many years ago, when I was younger, I saw him perform at a small christian college on lookout mountain georgia... 400 people or so. He over time morphed as did I... I saw him again, a few years later and it wasn't the same bruce... and I wasn't the same either...
Introducing music like this could increase the congregation especially with the younger folks and baby boomers.
just be careful...cockburn's entire repertoire skews towards thoughtful introspection, as opposed to obedience, which you would need to be ready for.
@eramosat
I'll keep my eyes and ears open. I have a gift from the Lord of reading people. Hasn't been wrong yet.
@@Countryboy.1 all the best
that bass
Lovely song
Voted thumbs down!?
How?
Demi Lovato fans
Because the guy who has this channel is a scammer, obviously not Bruce Cockburn. Read all the comments, you'll see, it's a scammer who can't write English.
thank you for this ... just HD and no visuals. PERFECT !!!! XOxoxoxox

Gorgeous!
Awesome, love it
I'm looking for the name of a Canadian folk guitarist, twelve-string virtuoso. An album from the 1970s showed him in profile on the right, as if he were juggling an orange, the only spot of color in the center on a gray background. It could be Bruce Cockburn but I can't find any trace of this album. Any ideas ?
Gordon Lightfoot?
@@ArkAmps I had thought about it, but I can't find this vinyl record cover in his discography, so I have some doubts... Thank you very much for your answer
Could it perhaps be Pierre BenSusan, Michael Hedges or Phil Keaggy? Though I don't believe any of them were Canadian.
@@furion.. Thank you so much @furion !! Watching informations about Michael Hedges, I've juste found the name I was looking for: Leo Kottke. And the disc was 'My Feet Are Smiling': on voit effectivement Leo Kottke de profil en train de jongler avec des oranges.
God Bless you Brucey ! Keep on being politically vocal ! Your voice is needed now more than ever !
Canada can still be a Nation . Under God .
Good will of all mankind can and will be empowered by YAHWEH
Excellent song.
Alguém do Brasil?
