His aunt Anne pays for her own families security except when she's representing the Queen officially. I read that security for the RF is funded with public money. They can't expect taxpayers to pay for the RF to employ security in Canada and the States and wherever else they want to sojourn for the rest of their lives. They quit the job. The interview questions are not entirely open-ended. Instead of asking "what happened" and "how did that make you feel", she asks "and that made you sad...", and "that must have been....". It's biased.

He always had much more freedom than his brother. So true! I went to a friend's evening party and William and Kate were also invited. Everyone on the guest list received a call from their people and a follow up email with how to behave. The most telling bit of the interview was when Harry said he didn’t realise he was trapped until Meghan told him he was. If he wasn’t trapped before, he certainly is now and he is being totally manipulated by a woman who appears to be a narcissist.
I completely agree. It all seems like a typical pattern narcissists and abusers use to manipulate and get control of their partner. He thinks she opened his eyes, but in reality she slowly manipulated him into seeing his family as bad people. Make him believe they used him, controlled him, treated him unfairly, manipulated him (ironically), and that they don't love or care about him the way she does. His family probably started to see through her facade and tried to talk to Harry. But getting through to someone in his situation is difficult. Anything the family might have said, Meghan could turn around and use as evidence that they were trying to control him. But now that he is cut off from his entire family, she doesn't have to worry about outside voices influencing him. She is the only one he has left and is in full control. Although I'm sure his family would welcome him back with open arms, as long as he sees them as the bad guys and Meghan as the innocent victim he has no reason to go back. Once a person in this kind of relationship realizes who their partner really is, they often feel trapped. He might feel he can't leave because of the children, or he thinks his family doesn't want him back because of how he treated them. People in these type of relationships might also have become completely dependent on the narcissist/abuser, at least that wouldn't be a concern here. I just hope that with the whole world looking at them, it won't take Harry as long to realize these things.

The family issued an official statement in the beginning of their relationship, asking the media to respect her privacy, even though it's never useful to do that because the tabloids jump on the subject even more if they see responses coming from the royals. The Queen invited not only Meghan but her mother to Balmoral to celebrate Christmas which was unprecedented before. Prince Charles walked her down the aisle on her wedding day. She was gifted a title, patronages, a house, an earl title for her son, a million pound annual allowance just to spend on clothes she appeared in on public engagements. Meghan might've felt bad but it wasn't because the royals, it was because of the media. If you think about it, Diana was granted the title Princess of Wales even after her divorce, she was given alimony, she was gonna live in luxury for the rest of her life. It was the media that absolutely hounded her, exploited her private life and then eventually chased her to death. The royal family had nothing to do with it but it was easier for the media to put the blame on them instead of owning up to their own horrible treatment of Diana. They're responsible for both women's treatment.

I'd be interested because it seemed like the paparazzi were obsessed with her (or the money her pictures meant). They followed her, showed up in front of her house and found out where she was. As for the flag, it's just simply protocol. They only lower it if a current member of the family passes away. Even though Diana stayed in the public eye after her divorce, legally she was out of the family and I doubt that any members other than Charles kept in touch with her. Maybe they occasionally ran into each other when the boys were coming back from speding time with Diana. But it's understandable for both sides that they weren't exactly on friendly terms and therefore, I highly doubt that Diana would have wanted the royal family to be associated with her name.

Those narcissistic traits were what my ex husband used. We would go everywhere together, we enjoyed music of a similar sort. He would cuddle me and wanted to hold my hand everywhere we went. Eventually over time that changed and we stayed home rather than go out. I would organize to go out with friends and at the last moment he refused to come. I thought the problem was me and then the gaslighting started. It was scary that I thought I had started to go crazy. Fortunately I am well and truly out of that relationship now. I didn’t believe the miscarriage story either. Due to my utter disdain for meghan, I truly did not want to watch this video but I'm glad that I did. Since day one I could tell that she was a liar. I don't feel like she deserves to be with him as he is a really good man, he's just in a constant state of hurt deep down inside. The most telling bit of the interview was when Harry said he didn’t realise he was trapped until Meghan told him he was. If he wasn’t trapped before, he certainly is now and he is being totally manipulated by a woman who appears to be a narcissist.

I completely agree. It all seems like a typical pattern narcissists and abusers use to manipulate and get control of their partner. He thinks she opened his eyes, but in reality she slowly manipulated him into seeing his family as bad people.
Make him believe they used him, controlled him, treated him unfairly, manipulated him (ironically), and that they don't love or care about him the way she does. His family probably started to see through her facade and tried to talk to Harry. But getting through to someone in his situation is difficult. Anything the family might have said, Meghan could turn around and use as evidence that they were trying to control him. But now that he is cut off from his entire family, she doesn't have to worry about outside voices influencing him. She is the only one he has left and is in full control.
Although I'm sure his family would welcome him back with open arms, as long as he sees them as the bad guys and Meghan as the innocent victim he has no reason to go back.
Once a person in this kind of relationship realizes who their partner really is, they often feel trapped. He might feel he can't leave because of the children, or he thinks his family doesn't want him back because of how he treated them.
People in these type of relationships might also have become completely dependent on the narcissist/abuser, at least that wouldn't be a concern here. I just hope that with the whole world looking at them, it won't take Harry as long to realize these things.

The family issued an official statement in the beginning of their relationship, asking the media to respect her privacy, even though it's never useful to do that because the tabloids jump on the subject even more if they see responses coming from the royals. The Queen invited not only Meghan but her mother to Balmoral to celebrate Christmas which was unprecedented before. Prince Charles walked her down the aisle on her wedding day. She was gifted a title, patronages, a house, an earl title for her son, a million pound annual allowance just to spend on clothes she appeared in on public engagements.
Meghan might've felt bad but it wasn't because the royals, it was because of the media. If you think about it, Diana was granted the title Princess of Wales even after her divorce, she was given alimony, she was gonna live in luxury for the rest of her life. It was the media that absolutely hounded her, exploited her private life and then eventually chased her to death. The royal family had nothing to do with it but it was easier for the media to put the blame on them instead of owning up to their own horrible treatment of Diana. They're responsible for both women's treatment.

As for the flag, it's just simply protocol. They only lower it if a current member of the family passes away. Even though Diana stayed in the public eye after her divorce, legally she was out of the family and I doubt that any members other than Charles kept in touch with her. Maybe they occasionally ran into each other when the boys were coming back from speding time with Diana. But it's understandable for both sides that they weren't exactly on friendly terms and therefore, I highly doubt that Diana would have wanted the royal family to be associated with her name.
From the engagement interview and photo call, I knew this woman did not love Harry. It was so obvious. He was just her trophy, nothing more, nothing less. It was obvious.

Those narcissistic traits were what my ex husband used. We would go everywhere together, we enjoyed music of a similar sort. He would cuddle me and wanted to hold my hand everywhere we went. Eventually over time that changed and we stayed home rather than go out. I would organize to go out with friends and at the last moment he refused to come. I thought the problem was me and then the gaslighting started. It was scary that I thought I had started to go crazy. Fortunately I am well and truly out of that relationship now. It takes a long time to heal from a relatioship like that. I wish Harry all the best, even though I dont like all the bad things about his family. He will regret that in the end!

I didn’t believe the miscarriage story either. I think she put the story out in the public eye to better control the public’s perception of her or to at least keep most normal people from saying or thinking their honest opinions of her quite for a while. Due to my utter disdain for meghan, I truly did not want to watch this video but I'm glad that I did. Since day one I could tell that she was a liar. I don't feel like she deserves to be with him as he is a really good man, he's just in a constant state of hurt deep down inside.
