The adjustability of the wheel chock had me a bit confused when it didn't need adjusting between bikes with 17" and 21" wheels. I have a similar arrangement on my hydraulic bike bench. The adjustability serves to vary the amount the front wheel drops in. So have it set for a large drop for my light enduro bike, to ensure it stays put over bumps. But for my Harley or Pan European, I have found using less of a drop-in helps when trying to pull it out afterwards on my own. The motolug trailer is less of a problem in this as the raised angle gives you gravity assistance pulling it back out, but until I realised this, on my bike lift bench, I used to have to get an assistant to pull me backwards
Can you fold this up for easy storage in your garage without taking it apart? I wouldn't want to keep assembling and unassembling it but also I don't have lots of storage.
Great video. I have the same trailer in the USA. I did have to make an adaptor for the light system. The 7 pin standard in the US is different than the one from UK.
Hello Me VoCGT I am glad I saw your comment 😁 because I am going to buy one Motolog TE (Twin) and I am looking online how to register it in USA. I live in Germany but I will move back to the State. Please can you explain me how was the process to register it on USA? What I know so far is that I need a bill of sale a registration and some type of title from the seller. The trailer need to have a label on it with a VIN number and the weight. I am watching many youtube videos about Motolug and none of them have that information on the trailer 🙁. Can you verify your please? Thanks in advance!!!
@@bj231bj as far as registering the trailer here in the US, it will depend on the state you will be moving to. Motolug will provide a certificate of origin(or an equivalent document), as well as the specs. Then you will need to see what the state department of transportation will want. I provided the documents included with the trailer to my state’s department of transportation, and was issued a registration for it. took about 2o minutes or so. Some states won’t require it to be registered. Good Luck!
Hi mate I've got a c30 member of the fb crew I've got a motorcross bike was going to buy a van as didn't think the c30 would tow well how have you found it yourself?
think i must have a faulty unit ! when recording with no case on sound is very very low on play back through computer with case on almost mute!!think you pay for what you get !!!! cheers chops
No it wasn't, I've had no problem with audio apart from Wednesday when it was in a very high vibration area on the KTM, kept cutting out completely. Not sure if it's a one off or not yet..
Haha, trouble with this you can't sleep on it.. Probably not for you ;p well guess you could bring one bike and you could kip on the other runner in your sleeping bag ;-)
Did you notice much change to your car's fuel consumption? I just came back from 2200 miles in europe in my V60 D4 and it averaged 63mpg, so I'm trying to cost out how much this is likely to drop to with a 350kg load on the back. thanks
I can answer my own question now. From Nice in the south of France back to Calais at 80mph, towing my VFR800 on my motolug SE, I still got 50mpg from the Volvo. The trailer was dead steady, even when overtaking.
Shame they dont do one thats slightly larger, Ive got the same problem with my Quad/Buggy. No space to store trailer but need to transport it around, the only way i can do it currently is with a wheel bar to suspend the front but it means using a pair of throwaway rears to transport it, thats fine local but long distance its a waste of tyre.
Second motolug video with the Benny Hill theme used. Still best one yet and will order one for the new year. Thanks.
Still have it and still going strong!
This is perfect as i have nowhere to keep a standard style trailer, thanks for the review!
Great stuff JR knew this would be useful for some :)

Looks a beast of a trailer, if I had a car I would probably invest in one! Great review as usual.
Cheers Flibble!
@@LambChopRides Looks like a piece of shit to me.

@@Mattvogtsr Thanks for the good news!! Take care!!
great bit of kit.... i'll know who to contact now if ever i break down and need my bike recovered :P
Haha no no I've given it back... :-P
looks like a good bit of kit!
Yeah certainly is Jambo really good
Amazing, but 50% price increase in 5 years.
Good day,
The website offers a 10" wheel kit as upgrade, is this recommended or the stock wheels will do just fine?
Love that intro bro
Cheers Ramon
What straps did you use, did you get them with the trailer ?
Hi mate I've got a c30 member of the fb crew I've got a motorcross bike was going to buy a van as didn't think the c30 would tow well how have you found it yourself?
The C30 tows fine, as towing bikes there is no weight there. Hardly even notice they are on the back!
I’m trying to get the single one but everything is just in UK so I don’t know exactly how much the single one would be for me because I live in the US
So whats the forward silver bars for then? The ones u originally thought were ment for securing the straps from the bike?
They hold the white forward facing.reflectors
I like the straps too. where did you puchase them
They were just from Ebay.. nothing too fancy

Hi chops was this vid filmed on the thieye? have you had issues with low recording volume ? or do I have just have a faulty unit ?
No it wasn't, I've had no problem with audio apart from Wednesday when it was in a very high vibration area on the KTM, kept cutting out completely. Not sure if it's a one off or not yet..
do you still have the trailer? and are you interested in selling it?
must say it looked like a well built piece of kit when I see it in person

Is this Claude from AFTV?
I have the same car that I was going to use to pull my bikes :)
Motolug. Make Ikea great again!
Fancy.
695 and 1045£??? Daaaamn... Now it is 1300 and 1775£! Freakin hell!!!
Are u still using it Mr chops? or is it collecting dust in the shed somewhere?
Blimey gone up then.. yes use it all the time still!
@@LambChopRides Good enough! Getting one then. Cheers
If you two can assemble it....... It must be idiot proof!!!!😬Nice bit of kit though Chops👍🏻😊
Yep exactly that was the point I was trying to make hehe :)
Hiya!!! ARe you still using this trailer? I want to take my s1000xr and my CRF250 down to spain :D And just wondering what it is like on journeys
What an excellent trailer, shame my car can't tow...
Yes it's really good MH, why can't it tow?
Lamb Chop Rides It's a sporty type of car with the exhaust coming out of the middle so no way to fit a tow bar unfortunately.
What a good idea for someone who as limited space
Yep perfect for that and my situation exactly!

Sounds like a new opportunity for them! They do a heavy duty one but only single track.. Good idea for them though quad trailer
Sorry mr chops but the secret location is not so secret ahahaha
Lol trust you :)
The trailer looks great, however, you’re driving on the wrong side of the freakin road!!!
