- This is a clip that tells all about Idanre culture.
A charge to wake up and embrace our cultural heritage.
The spirit of patriotism must be encouraged.
I went home few weeks ago and could not ignore this popular musica videol played on visually every screen at idanre, I thought I should bring this on the net for others that cant afford to go home and watch this young man trying to rejuvenate idanre culture again. - เพลง
06/19/2024 I’m from Odode Idanre. Greetings from the USA🇺🇸 to everyone.❤
Any time I hear him singing my hometown song I am always happy udane omo afada. Jebo
Whaaooo this is our culture at it's best. Remembering my lovely parents they were fluent in Idanre/Ondo dialect, although we are from Ekiti Originally, my parents learnt the dialect during their sojourn in the area. They will be speaking it to each other when they are talking about something confidential and don't want us kids to hear, funny enough by the age of 5-7 I was able to understand everything they were saying despite not stepping foot in Idanre/Ondo (up till today) I was blessed with picking up languages/Dialect easily (which really helpful when I crossed the oceans to Europe) am able to speak 3major European languages today, it's only God knows how. Rest on my parents missing you always.
Wowwwwwww. Well done.Lovely music. Makes me homesick. Idanre is the best. My childhood, full of fond memories. My grandfather, my grandmother with the best pounded yam and ila asepo. Every Christmas visits, festivals, afeferitis, obintun(only one seen though) ,parties, weekend visits. Kabiyesi(Apele) was very fond of my younger brother . Good times. Climbing the hills at the back of my great aunty's home with water flowing always . Beautiful. My grandma is dead now. It pains me I can't speak Idanre dialect. My mum speaks it at all times. I must visit Idanre next time I am in my father's land. Please visit Idanre if you can , beautiful lovely place and take your children there. Bliss.

This is one of the songs that takes you right back home spiritually. No auto tune, real voice, traditional drums without guitar or keyboard.

I have found out that my people are from Idanre. :) What is the beautiful language that the Idanre speak?
Ondo language, as an outsider I will say Ikale/Ilaje language but there may be slight difference in them. Just like Ekiti and Ijesha
