The GTS-2000pro, newly added to our range, is a shredder of the top class. It is the improved and revised version of its predecessor GTS-2000.
Essential differences to its predecessor GTS-2000 are among others the enlarged feed hopper (47x41 cm) which makes the shredder now even more suitable for bushy material and the optimisation of the counter blade which leads to a considerably improved feeding behaviour of the shredded material. Furthermore, the angle of the feed hopper has been optimised, so that feeding is now even more efficient and easier.
Due to its solid and stable construction, it is a particularly robust machine which is also suitable for commercial use. The shredder weighs 203 kg in ready-to-operate condition, but is still easy to move - due to the large rubber tyres and the sophisticated weight distribution by the powerful motor located in the middle. Even smaller paths and doors are no obstacle for the GTS-2000pro as the total width is only 66 cm.
Thanks to the redesigned ejection chute, which can be rotated through 180°, the wood chips can be discharged directly onto a trailer. This eliminates the need for laborious manual transfer of the shredded material from the ground to a trailer. The throwing distance can still be adjusted at the ejection itself.
Depending on the nature of the wood, the shredder processes branches with a maximum diameter of up to 12 cm!
The GTS-2000pro pulls in the material to be shredded with a lot of force by the 2 knives rotating on a heavy drum, which run against a counter blade. Also here we have improved the alignment of the counter blade compared to its predecessor. The drum knives can still be turned and can therefore be used a second time.
The machine can be easily towed to any location by means of the existing towing device. The shredder is also very easy to maintain. Parts such as knives, counter blade etc. are easy to reach, because the feed hopper can be opened easily thanks to quick release fasteners, which makes maintenance and cleaning work much easier. Efficient working is pre-programmed. The bearings are additionally equipped with grease nipples.
The powerful 14 HP KOHLER motor with electric starter makes the shredder completely independent of the mains supply, so that it can be used without restriction even in remote locations. The motor has a pull-rope starter and, if necessary, can be switched off directly at the feed hopper using the emergency switch.
