    I love my Steve W 10” hi hats. Perfect amount of chomp and chic. One hell of a bargain to boot❤

    Those Meinls sound like an old-school alarm clock.
    I love it, probably going to pair two of their splash cymbals and see where it goes... Might be shit, might be amazing.

    I play primarily with just a kick, snare and cymbals with the occasional tambourine or shaker. Been looking to downside to smaller hats and I’m torn between the Weiss 10” or the sick hats but I think the Weiss gets the job done at a fraction of the price.

      Both are great hats! Thanks for checking the video out.

    The Meinl hi hats are the HCS bronze made with the b8 alloy !! The HCS brass have the MS63 alloy !!

    The XSR’s can go straight to the trash can! Honestly the SW sounded the best, which I think was the subtle goal behind this video. 😂

      They’re all great hats- but ours are the most traditional sounding. We knew they were great, but we didn’t expect everyone to like them so much 😂

    I give SW HH’s thumbs up! You guys did forget the Paiste PST X 10” Swiss Hats.

    How about diy drilling holes to a 'normal' hihat? Anybody tried?

    • @SteveWeissMusic
      @SteveWeissMusic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Although we haven't drilled, companies have manufactured many kinds of hi hats that feature holes. The Zildjian Quick Beats are an example.

    Honestly the SWs sounded the best.
    Sick hats #2, Meinl 3, AA last

      One more thing…the SWs sounded way bigger than their size. And the low pitch helped that. The XSR sounded WAY to bright

    The Steve Weiss 10" hats sounded best to me. The rest sounded like garbage...
