Baccarat rouge extrait is a complicated monster i always get stopped & asked what I’m wearing Im thinking of investing into the biggest bottle of it, never want to run out of it
Interesting list, I like it! I live here in Jamaica and I wear what I love in this tropical, humid weather. I don't like summery scents that don't last so I wear what I like. Alien, Aventus for Women, Baccarat 540, Naxos, Chocolate Greedy, Love don't be shine Extreme, Chinatown, Amazing Grace, Casablanca, Shagaf Oud, Code for Women, Delina, Noir for women, Elysium, Sunshine Woman, Flowerbomb Nectar, Flowerbomb Midnight, Angel Share, The only one intense, Oud Satin Mood etc
Living on an island in the tropics, this video is timely. Thank you for using the term "jammy", as it very much describes what I aim to find in a fragrance. It needs to melt and meld with my personal chemistry, like glazing on a donut.
Hello, after your video i got Le Labo Bergamot 22 and I am wearing it now in our unnormal hot weather in Kazakhstan, its so good fresh clean natural citrus without alcohol and chemical as you mentioned. Thanks for very good describing every fragrance to us.
I personally have never had a problem wearing heavy scents in summer, woody, resinous scents aren't the issue for me it's the sickly, synthetically sweet scents that bother me in humidity.
@@giorgiozampieri4352 ya we had weather like that for a few days last week 33 degrees and close to 100% humidity, needless to say it's not my favorite weather.
20 days ago i was in croatia on adriatic sea 37C huge humidity...for me worked lyric man, cedrat boise, ombre leather, layton and nishane fan your flames
Glad you mentioned Akro. It's not wearable for me, but as a long-time former smoker, it gives me a feeling of nostalgia about smoking (which I don't normally feel) and gives me that heady, relaxing feeling of a cigarette, plus some other stuff happens after it settles, so I spray it on paper and sniff as needed. It's on my need-a-full-bottle list, along with Dark and Awake!
Atomic Rose is on my wish list 🥰🌹I love Rose centered fragrances and I wear them when I go out dancing in the summer at night. I get many compliments on how good I smell 😉
This is a video that can help us a lot in choosing the fragrance that lasts in hot humid weather. Your advice is always useful and interesting. Thanks Sebastian 👍🏻❤️ Personally in summer I wear Acqua di sale Profumum Roma, Megamare of Orto Parisi, Mandarin basilic of Guerlain and La liturgie des heures of Jovoy. they Last and refresh me a lot
I may be the only woman who thinks Xerjoff's 'Ivory Route' smells like a soaking wet Indian jungle on a thick, humid sunny day after a midday rainstorm. The moisture is dripping off the large green leaves and there are spices which smell like they've been stored in the most ideal conditions, so they smell as if they're in their optimum, healthy, high quality state. There's a slightly sour juiciness too, like when you squeeze a good quality Cuban cigar in the Harrods Smoker's Requisites Humidor and inhale. I just think of really gorgeous sticky jungle spices. I love Ivory Route on a hot sticky summer day, and I love the idea of spices and hot steaming earth in a verdant, dark green jungle. It also brings back memories of Italian churches, wet hot summer pavements and temples in Japan, Parisian catacombs, Turkish pastries, Hawaiian hiking...so much! The concept of this being a signature scent for a fictional 'world traveller's club' was executed perfectly. So many memories of exploring the exotic, fragrant parts of the world hit you in layers. Gorgeous. Highly recommend...even on a humid day! ;)
Amouage is one of the companies which still putting real juice in the bottles and made recently new more international taste perfumes. Profumum Roma is a house to explore.
I purchased fresh cannibis santal on a blind buy, the cannibis is mild and works so well In high humidity, the dry down is nostalgic and green, reminds me of lying in the sun on a freshly cut lawn.
78 Vintage Green, Montabaco Verano, Escentric 04, Elysium, Mugler Cologne, Tygar, Afternoon Swim have been good for me in high humidity. Heavier fragrances haven't been pleasant for me in the past.
Love Musk Therapy in the heat and Yin Transformation. You have me curious about trying some roses in the summer and to you don’t knock wearing vanillas in the heat. It’s a weird and satisfying experience. Start at night with something simple like gentle fluidity or Vaniglia.
neroli based fragrances which usually have poor longevity in the cold, heat up and linger on the skin longer in the heat and humidity. also some fall fragrances are still nice in humidity. velvet rouge jason wu is incense and rose powder, i like the way it works in the heat, it doesn't last in the fall. the hermes gardens line is also very popular for the heat
For me, from my collection, strong and long lasting perfumes but fresh, for humid climat are: B-612 by Nishane, Gentle Fluidity Silver by MFK, Colognise by Nishane, PERCIVAL by PDM, Eau des sens by Dipthyque, ARRAKIS by spirits of Kings, AMIRI by Arabian Oud and... Wulang Cha by Nishane
that was a lot gem i never hear before.. and i think i need try it up.. my country Asia whole year 365 day humid high heat tho .. thanks for that video
Amouage Lyric in hot temperature?! For me doesn’t work at all… but in cold days it’s a beauty and nice rose, but on hot no no (for me). But Amouage dia on hot day is a nice nice one, people intentionally come close to me, some times stay on my way for me pass close to them, follow me, and things like that. Some complements, not a lot but make good impression I can see that. Dia it’s my favorite now. And Terre dhermes is my second option depending of my mood. Thanks Sebastian you’re great Sr.
It's funny that you mentioned amber rose as I was watching this video while getting dressed and I remembered getting sent a sample with something else I ordered, so I decided to try it out; first impression of it is amazing, and depending on the performance, longevity, and dry down, this could be my next purchase, thx!!
For BR540, they are now saying ambroxan instead of Ambergris in their website. The notes in their website is now more accurate. For example, they mention if it is an accord or absolute.
I feel like the new H24 by Hermes would do well in high humidity. I tried it today and at first it hits you with pine and lime then some sort of ginger with pepper and it finally settles to orange blossom. I was a bit dissapointed for being Hermes but it is quite affordable and it does last all day.
@@ianfarrales5266 No I have only tried the eau de parfum. It reminds of pinesol, I would not recommend Hermes for fragrances, they do not last and they smell cheap.
Hindu Kush by Mancera is a great warm weather fragrance. A herbaceous, arid fragrance with fantastic longevity and a unique scent profile for warm weather.
Hey! Just curious is Dana is coming back. You two have good insight into fragrance notes/moods/styles. Dana is also great at educating me! Anyhow, I hope she’s well. Thanks!

I will be moving from New York to Florida next year and I was wondering how I can wear my Frederic Malle’s, Nasomatto’s and Oud/Rose fragrances in a tropical climate? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Control your sprays or do minimal sprays. The best suggestion I think. But when A*Men was at it's the height of popularity in 2000 I met some folks in New Orleans in the humid heat of August Summer who were like spraying 10/15 sprays of that stuff when it was beastly so I think you will get used to wearing strong stuff in the heat!! I do! It doesn't bother me! :)
Ganymede has worked wonders for me in the heat / humidity. Hacivat as well if you don’t overspray. Acqua Viva is another one that can cut through humidity with its tartness. Why not invite Sebastian to the next stream? YEAH BUDDY! 🏖🍋☀️

Totally agree. One of the best during summer.

Rosendo Mateu No. 5 is amazing in heat and humidity.
Perfect video, I've been living in the Caribbean and humidity is definitely a thing!
One of my hot weather favorites is from Comme des Garcons' olfactive library collection. It's called Palisander and has a wonderful saffron accord.
For high heat?
Agreed on BR540 Extrait and Atomic Rose. Wore both in Vegas this weekend under 105+ degree heat. Worked perfect!
Yes on BR540 extrait! Wore it in Georgia on 90 degree plus days. Worked fantastic and garnered compliments too.
