The High Priestess has been a card that comes up for me a lot and is a big sign to me to seek out more aspects of my spiritual femininity. Thank you for this, it's definitely a sign to look for more paths.

As a Christian woman, I've always admired Mary OF Magdala, her hometown. She was a DISCIPLE of Christ & 4th century men couldn't handle that. She was a devoted follower of Jesus. Even supplied financial support of the group of 12 & Jesus himself (poor fisherman & a wandering rabbi)! (Bible specifically states WOMEN supported Him & his followers.💰). Who do you think paid for the bread & fishes to feed the 5K? She asked philosophical questions apostles didn't; Jesus answered her; could talk with her. Treated like an intellectual equal! Apostles didn't like that. Mary understood Jesus' mission was spiritual, not the next kingdom that destroys the Romans. The twelve didn't catch on for 3 years.
Men. The apostles had selfish ambitions. Even Jesus had to shut them down. Good old Peter (the 1st "pope"):
--- Matthew 19:27 -- Peter said “We have left everything to follow you! What then will there
be for us?” They had to refine those arrogant attitudes
--- All of them asking Jesus: 'Who would be greatest?' (See Matthew 18:1-3, Matthew 19:27-
30,). Two straight up asked for power positions next to him, Mark 10:35-45. 🙄
All politics & POWER. Christianity became "official" religion of the Roman Empire. The guys created their earthly kingdom anyway.
So angry what the Catholic Church has done since its founding. 😡Bastardized the church Jesus set up. The kingdom was NOT an earthly collection of "papal states." Taught specifically against that. Just b/c Peter preached the first public sermon doesn't mean he was the "head" of the church - (1 Peter 2:25).
Catholics can't point to the Council of Jerusalem (about 48 AD) either. Just a meeting (which included Paul) to discuss resolving conflict between Jewish & Gentile Christians. Jewish Christians trying to insist Gentile Christians should follow Jewish customs too. Meeting to clarify for ministers share with new congregations as they traveled throughout the empire that Christians weren't bound by Jewish law. Recorded in Acts 15. Helped establish the early Church’s identity and paved the way for the spread of Christianity beyond the Jewish community.
Mary of Magdala was a disciple of Christ. A devoted follower of Jesus. All witnesses of the crucifixion were women except 1 male , John (the 12 ran scared). Mary first to witness the resurrection (she understood his message first). First to tell the 12 he's risen. They didn't believe her b/c she was a woman.
Mary of Magdala understood Jesus' mission. She was "punished" by the Catholic church for her "audacity" to be a disciple - "problem" for the patriarchy. Catholic Church designed a heirarchy, just like Roman govt - complete with corresponding clothing. Totally ignored Jesus. smh
***** Sorry so long! The Sunday school teacher me just came out. Tired of correcting this fallacy in my classes.☺

@@AlexandraHernandez-f9q Jesus did not organize the Christian church that was organized after His death by Peter. Jesus preached freedom from all authority outside of one’s self to reach God. He was against church and state. They the leaders of the church discredited Mary Magdalen as a prostitute b/c they didn’t want anyone to listen to her she would have been a threat to what they wanted to establish b/c she continued to preach the same message as Jesus.

I love Mary Magdalene. Meggan Watterson's book changed my life too. Mary's vision of Jesus' ascent, through the vision of her heart, totally aligns her with the High Priestess.
I also love Cynthia Bourgeaut's "The Meaning of Mary Magdalene", and LeLoup's beautiful commentary.
How amazing that you walked in her footsteps, in France!!
Thunder Perfect Mind is also amazing, as well as the ancient stories of Inanna.
Thank you for this! And for sharing the voice of the Magdalene. 🙏❤️❤️

I have recently come to love Mary Magdalene. She has a very wise, sisterly energy to me, like she is my spiritual big sister.

I haven’t read Meggan Watterson’s book yet-def on my TBR. A lot of info about Mary Magdalene came out in the 1990’s and early 2000’s as well-my doula actually had a Mary Magdalene women’s circle for a little while. I really enjoyed the historical fiction novel The Moon Under Her Feet by Clysta Kinstler.
Thank you for sharing all your reading recommendations-my TBR is much larger now lol. I will 14:23 have to find that poem you read by a priestess of Innana, it was amazing!

This is the most sane while remaining spiritual take on Mary Magdalene I’ve come across. Many people are making her out to be things that are historically and culturally inaccurate and just plain making things up. Mary Magdalene is enough as she is in her devotion and in her strength.

Hola! Thank you so much! Because of you, I also fell in love with Mary Magdalene. Would you consider doing a video talking about daily practical practices to connect with her and the Sacred Femenine? Abrazos from Puebla, México!

Where can I read the gospel of Mary Magdalene? What books would you recommend on her that’s actually factual?

I find Sadhuguru egoistic. I remember he commented bad about Siddhartha Gautama that's when I know that he is false. You don't have to make someone bad to make yourself good. If he don't like someone's teaching, why he cannot focus on his own. He doesn't spread love , he spread hatred and division.

Deep thanks Mariana Louis!!! Your video inspired me above and beyond. An answer that was so wished. You explained things perfectly, researched fully but the energy of growth and transformation you transmit is amazing. "by the fruits you shall know them" He said. Thanks for giving light and fire.🙏🤍💯🌻
