There are many reasons why people decide to start their own channels on youtube and I thought I'd share my thoughts on why I'm doing it, the vision I have going forward and be honest about some of the struggles. I hope you enjoy this fireplace chat 🔥 Thank you for watching! 🙏
Well, I found one of your videos months ago and loved it and subscribed, then got swept up in other things and didn't see another for a long time, but tonight Ive been binging, catching up, and trying not to be a great big stalker by leaving a billion comments 😂 But I am very inspired by you, and seeing someone who loves so many of the same things I love, having a very parallel experience in many ways is a quiet sort of thrill. I've been circling starting a youtube channel for years, and in the last months I started filming all sorts of stuff but the overthinking is very big here 😅. I'm amazed and impressed by how you're managing to give so much to this channel while navigating burnout. That's the bit that I'm still trying to figure out over here, but I'm getting closer. The circles are getting smaller. And in the meantime, thank you for showing the way and being so real and honest and funny while you're doing the thing.
Hahaha oh yes that's how it goes 😂 too many things wanting our attention. I feel you, been there when you basically want to write something on every video you watch haha, it's a nice feeling I think! Like you describe it: it's a quiet sort of thrill. How fun you've started to film stuff! 😍 Do you have any idea what kind of videos you want to make? Thanks a million for sharing your thoughts, I really appreciate it ✨🙏
I look out for your videos, yours is one of the few channels I actively wait to see posts from. I enjoy your life experiment and your reflections, and I find that they inspire me to reflect in turn. Thank-you, and I'm certainly along for the journey.
Wow thank you so much, it really made my day to read your comment 🙏 I really do feel like it's a privilege to get to post thoughts freely like this and that you're here engaging. Thank you again 🌻
Keep 'em coming! In explaining your experiences and motivations to others, you are analyzing your thoughts in a deeper way, which helps you, and you are offering the benefit of what you're learning to others. And offering up what you've learned is a good and giving thing to do, even if nobody is listening. But - some people are listening. Maybe something you said today was the exact thing that one person needed to hear, and they heard it. That's why we keep giving.
Thank you I really appreciate that. Many good things come from talking about what you're thinking; it often feels like it helps untangle messy thoughts. Lots of insights have come in the moments when I share 🙏 Like you said if even one person was helped or inspired in any way it's worth it.
Thank you! That's my hope, that some of you might find some nuggets from what I share ✨🌻 And a part of all of it is also to accept that yes, sometimes it SUCKS 😂 and then it doesn't. Everything flows up and down I guess.
Yeah me too, especially when the growth isn’t as fast as you would like and you start diving into the numbers to see if there’s an easy answer there. In my experience it never is. I still dive into the analytics rabbit hole, but deep down I know the answer isn’t to be found there. Thank you for deciding to share 🫶 I think a lot of us recognize ourselves knee deep in yt studio 😅
@@JacquelineWester it does take a while to get the hang of it. And you might find doing Livestreams easier and more productive than creating and editing videos.

Nice motivational talk for all those ones are, at times, unmotivated and not confident enough to pursue this adventure. All the best to you! 😊🙌🏻

This video made me want to slow down and take a step back. I feel I get really wrapped up in the analytics

Start doing Livestreams on your mobile phone app
You mean to get more watch time and engaging more with people? 😃
@@JacquelineWester yes, exactly. Make sure you have a good set up before you start doing them.
Ah I see yes I've been thinking about trying that! I've done it on Instagram a bunch before and it's been fun😄

That's definitely a possibility! Thank's for the encouragement 😃
