lmao. I feel the exact opposite about that turret weakpoint. The sight *always* eats my shots. I never shoot it anymore. The breech feels like butter, and then has the ammo behind it for the oneshot.
The gun sight is legit a non pen against the best rounds in the game
I always been protect by the gunner sight, just those fuel tanks that pissed me off. Btw it really need OFL 120 F2 for the SXXI (and maybe s2 like 2a5 but nerfed). Still a great and entertaining review as always
All the leclerc need the F2 this is the same 120mm for all leclerc not like the 2a5

Also another fact with the Leclerc is it’s engine. The one Ingame is not actually the engine France use, but the one with the specs of the UAE.
Hear me out. France uses an diesel electric engine, which is implemented in game and is good, but this engine when not use in desert is boosted by the use of a turbine similar of the Abrams, giving the Leclerc a much, much better mobility and acceleration, which it just does not have ingame
Also the updated OFL120F2 is just a French F1DU shell, and I don’t know why it wasn’t implemented alongside the US one
What turbine similar to abrams? Abrams uses gas turbine engine it has nothing to conventional diesels.
@@SergeiSugaroverdoseShuykov what I said is that the leclerc has an ADDITIONAL turbine, which is not gas powered, but still a turbine, which is just similar to the one on the Abrams. Whatever the fuel, a turbine is still a turbine

Finally someone talking about the Leclerc for what is really is ... except for the gunner optic.
The Leclerc MBTs are really falling behind in terms of survivability, both because armor is powercrept and the fuel tanks are blowing up all the time.
The firepower is not what is used to be. I'd love either more penetration or the historical 5 seconds reload.
I really hope Gaijin will give them some love soon but you know, Gaijin and France ...
Sure, you can still make the Leclerc MBTs work, but it's more difficult than with the other NATO MBTs.
EDIT : OFL 120 F2 isn't that new, it's 25 years old. However, the little of elements that are known about it all points out for it to be a very powerful round.

finally, my requested tank gameplay :)
The sights been always eating my shots, the breach however, one good hit at around the middle and 90% chance the entire autoloader in the back will send the turret right off, or i get a CK.o because of the turret ring, the fuel tanks are also a huge weakspot, and a mechanic that imo shouldn't exist ingame because of how stupid it is, Hull-Break back in the day atleast used to make sense for balancing reasons.
I'm grinding for this with the amx 30 super, it seems like a neat vehicle and I dont really care if it's out of the meta

From my experience playing it the fuel tank always explodes and kills the tank so when i go against it i shoot the left side of lower hull

I beleive the S2 had different type of armour.
They need to fix the reload to 5 seconds seriously and add the F2 round for the S21
5 sec or 5.5 sec atleast. This tank is outperformed by leo2a5, type 10 and abrams now
France should get 5 seconds cause even though the standard autoloaders reload is 6 seconds...the autoloader system is known to have some sort of settings to where it can do 5 seconds in real life.

The new Leclerc XXI will definitely need the OFL120 F2 shell to stand out of the rest, I really like the Leclerc it is my best tank when it comes to KD also it's just a beautiful machine but it feels like the Leclerc XXI is just 400k rp only for CITV... we French deserve a new shell for the upcoming Leclerc
but leclerc SXXI doesn't use ofl120f2, it uses more advanced rounds, around 900-1000 pen at 2km.
@@tigerbesteverything I know SXXI uses OFL120 F1-B and F2-B but those aren't just balanced for the current meta I don't see the problem actually of getting the F2 to the XXI sometimes things like a vehicle getting a feature that it didn't irl are on the game

The Ito90M for France is still a super weird choice since France has their own launch platform for it so why give them a Finnish one
well it's because at the time, they didn't just want to buff SPAA... they wanted to *super buff* SPAA. The ITO 90M that we see in game with VT-1s is used mainly by the Finnish army, with a total production run of about 20. The thing is, France has VT-1s, but they have been rumored to only be mounted in fixed spots. The system, called "Crotale NG," comes with the entire search and track radar set and missile launchers and can theoretically be mounted anywhere, it's just useless in War Thunder unless its on a vehicle. VT-1s are a very, very high tech missile (it honestly should not be in game yet) made to be basically impossible to dodge (it pulls ~50 Gs). But again, Gaijin wanted to super buff SPAA to counter the insane heli spam that was happening at top tier. I don't know any other vehicle they could have strapped VT-1s to. imo everything should still have Roland 3s, but its alright.
This actually brings up another point: The FlaRakRad had VT-1s only because theoretically, VT-1s had been seen to be able to be modified to fit into Roland 3 missile systems. The FlaRakRad, same as the FlaRakPz before it, both use the Roland 2 system. So unfortunately, going forward, any system that can mount Roland 2s can mount VT-1s accord to Gaijin. This is why the FlaRakRad is the only VT-1 -armed vehicle that doesn't use the Crotale NG radar suite; it was made to guide Rolands. Unfortunately, in-game this makes the vehicle that never mounted the VT-1 (Flarakrad) better than the ones that actually use it IRL because it cannot be understated how powerful the FlaRakRad's IRST system is. If the ITO's Crotale NG system was modeled properly, it would also feature a form of electro-optical tracking that won't set off RWR like the ADATS, but it's still modeled wrong.
Edit: it has come to my attention that France has their own VT-1 -armed vehicles, and there are many prototypes and the like to choose from. The ITO makes less and less sense
The ITO 90m uses the French "Crotale" AA system.

So I have an annoying question. I know I shouldn't be asking it here but this is one of my last options.
After 1550 hours on the game, it started becoming unplayable. Every other match it crashes trying to put me in a match. (Like as soon as it switches from the loading screen to the actual battle it freezes up along with my pc.)
Obviously, since things are never so easy to fix, everything I tried doesn't work:
- Reinstalling
- Switching hard drives
-Integrity check (with both steam and the WT launcher)
- Removing cache
- Driver update
- Sound driver update (my audio driver was broken, nevertheless it didn't fix it either)
- Windows update
Nothing works. The sad part, it went from bad to worse. About 2 months ago I noticed that the game crashed more often than normal, 2 months later, and it crashes every 2-3 battles.
Does anyone have any idea?
Sorry to do it this way, and for bothering you, but I kinda just want to know. Because it hurts to be forced to stop playing something after 1550 hours.
i am not an expert on this, but i am assuming its mostly about your hardware, just because you've done everything else. Could you share your spec with us, so that other people may help you further?

@@crazymixture57 I’ll whoop that type 10s ass. Leclers have crazy good muzzle velocity and range for APFSDS and boasts a crazy barrel depression compared to other tanks making this tank and amazing shoot and scoot at far range utilizing uneven terrain or hull down behind a hill. Not to mention reverse gears being the same as it’s forward like other MBTs excluding Russia because well… fuck Russia. Sure the Type 10 might have slightly better armor but who’s really gonna have the upper hand? Until it’s in the game we may never know.
@@skylieden Type 10 only has 10m/s less muzzle velocity than Leclerc at 1780. Type 10 also in game has the same number of forward and reverse gears and can do it's top speed in reverse at 70kph. Currently as it stands though the Type 10 has the same if not worse armor than the Leclerc. However I will enjoy my 613mm pen dart every 4 seconds to take down any enemy that dare stands in front of Japan.

is one of my favorites at top tier,i can handle the armmor loss in time but the stupid mechanic with fuel tanks explosion made me not playing it anymore ,its full of fuel tanks,they shoot you in the lower lower glacis and tank goes boom...stupidest crap ever
